DJ Drama is back with his 4th album, Quality Street Music. Lets get into this review, I'll give a quick breakdown....

1. "Goin' Down" (featuring Fabolous, T-Pain and Yo Gotti)
The album starts off great where Fab spits a sick Wu metaphor like "Riding to some Wu Tang while I be lit/ Made me put shoes on the ghost walabee s***", Yo Gotti drops a solid verse as well and T-Pain doesn't come off as annoying.

2. "Never Die" (featuring Jadakiss, Cee Lo Green, Nipsey Hussle and Young Jeezy)
This is the best song on here, a nice introspective track produced by Cardiak. Cee-Lo supplies the hook, while we get introspective verses from Jadakiss, Nipsey Hussle and Jeezy.

3. "My Moment" (featuring 2 Chainz, Meek Mill and Jeremih)
A lot of people think this was the first single but its actually the second. They wating on their big moment. The verses were solid and Jeremih adds a nice hook.

4. "We in This Bitch" (featuring Future, Young Jeezy, T.I. and Ludacris)
The first single Drama released back in February, it had a video as well but it barely got any radio or video play so I doubt a lot of people heard it.

5. "So Many Girls" (featuring Wale, Tyga and Roscoe Dash)
I'm not too big on this one, I feel like I heard this track a million times, but I can see it being a single.

6. "Clouds" (featuring Rick Ross, Miguel, Pusha T and Curren$y)
Smooth joint for the ladies, Miguel kills it on the hook. This song kinda reminds me of Rick Ross "Super High" track but nonetheless its good.

7. "Chocolate Droppa (Skit)" (featuring Kevin Hart)
Kevin Hart skit with his alter ego Chocolate Droppa

Take one look at the track listing, features, and production team... then listen to the album... then tell me it didn't sound exactly as you guessed it would. Truth is albums like this are almost always the same. Not to say I went into the album with a pre-determined opinion, but like I said. It's way too predictable. DJ Drama doesn't rap, and he doesn't produce any of the beats. Besides rounding up a bunch of today's trendy artists (Wiz Khalifa, Tyga, Rick Ross, Meek Mill, etc.) i'm not sure how he even contributes to his own album, lol. Anyways to the music.

No sense in wasting your time with a track by track explanation.. it doesn't deserve one. There are some bright spots on the album, one being the lead single "My Moment".. some nice guest verses by the re-emerging 2 Chainz and the MMG breakout Meek Mill. T-Minus contributes the best beat on the album in my opinion, reminds me of "I'm On One". Other than that it's just a big cluster. One of those dust collector albums that you spin once and never go back to (just like Drama's previous 3 albums, and every DJ Khaled album).

My advice: save your $10 and go get Skyzoo's "A Dream Deferred" album instead.

Theres some good singles on this album but it is not really cohesive. Guess that's just part of putting so many different producers and artists on one album. Its not an album that I can go back to and listen to over and over from start to finish. I mainly pick and choose songs from this album to listen to and then move onto something else.

Great album. I enjoy pretty much every song. My moment gets me pumped and also we in this bitch. S*** all of em do. Never heard of Fred the godson but after I heard Monique's room I'm a fan. That's a deep track and I can relate like I'm sure plenty of others can. Worth the money man. Some DJs just know what they're doin haha

I really enjoyed the DJ Drama cd. As with any cd you start to have your favorites though I did find the first half of the cd much better than the second half. He has quite a collection of artists featured on this album and for the most part they deliver well. I would say it's a good cd overall, especially compared to the crap that has been coming out lately. This cd has about 6 to 8 songs you will enjoy and about 2 that are complete trash with the rest being average. Overall a well done cd, and DJ Drama has produced some great beats on this one.

More like "Repetitive Street Music" or "Quality Boring Music" right here. I enjoyed DJ Drama's previous release, Third Power, but this time around it is more Southern oriented and repetitive. The production features the typical names but nothing really stands out or distinguishes itself from the rest. The album features a wide array of mainstream and Southern artists, solidifying a casual listen, delivering nothing meaningful or worth mentioning. If you enjoy the South, this is for you...if not, then move on.

I don't even have to listen to this nonsense. When I saw the track list of weak rappers that was enough. Where did he get the title quality street music? More like redundant commercial garbage. It's not quality, it's not street and it is by no means music. PERIOD!!

I had high expectations for this album and for the most part Quality Street Music didn't let me down. However there are a few tracks i did not like. Tracks 8, 14 & 15 are not that great.
