Hello future hp-touchpad-screen-protector-owners! FIRST OF ALL, A BIG THANK YOU TO THOSE WHO TOOK THE TIME TO WRITE RECOMMENDATIONS!!! I followed the advice given regarding applying the protector after someone took a shower. I've only used 1 and it shall remain like that.
YOU CAN'T BEAT THIS DEAL, SHOP AROUND and SEE FOR YOURSELF :) You get a 3-pack for like $5, dude, c'mon!
ORDER THIS AND DO THE FOLLOWING:
1) Have someone in your home take a shower and put a towel at bottom of bathroom door to keep as much moist inside the bathroom.
2) Have your stuff ready! Take out one screen protector, clean your touchpad's screen using your own breath and lint-free cloth (e.g. clean cotton shirt) and make sure it's clean :), get a card (driver's license, credit/debit card etc because you'll use this to use as a squegee.
3) Once the person is ready to come out and you are ready to go inside the steamy bathroom, swap! Make sure you also put towel at bottom of bathroom door to keep as much moist within. Note: It may get a little warm in there that is why you want to have all of your stuff ready and know what you are supposed to do because you may start sweating.
4)Wipe down one last time your screen and make sure that your hands are also clean; place touchpad on straight surface and one note that on the actual protector there are 2 little stickers that say "remove before/after applying"
5) Remove the one that says "remove before applying" and place as centered as possible as you can. THIS WILL BE A LITTLE CHALLENGING, DON'T WORRY! ** Mine is not 100% straight, it's like 98% ok and that's good enough for me, however, I do want to stress that you should NOT STRESS over this. Keep in mind that you can USE THE CAMERA lens (little circle on top) and the button on bottom-center to help GUIDE THE POSITIONING OF YOUR PROTECTOR. (this is the hardest part, I had to re-do it like 15x's! lol
6) Once you are pretty satisfied with it's positioning remove the other little sticker ("remove after applying") and then use your card as squeegee and gently yet firm, push out the air bubbles from center to edge, where you begin does not matter.
7) try to get as many out, however, at best, you'll get about 95% of them out, the remaining %-age will come out by themselves within 2-3 days, assuming you did your best trying to remove at least the obvious/bigger ones.
THAT'S IT MY FRIENDS!!! ENJOY YOUR AWESOME PRODUCT-PURCHASE :) God bless :)
