3.0 out of 5 stars Easier to Follow texts are available, February 22, 2006
This review is from: Water Quality & Treatment Handbook (Hardcover)
This book is outlined more as a collection of journal articles on the various aspects of water treatment than as a solid text book style reference book. The book does not "flow" well. I had to use the book for a graduate class, but after leaving academia I now use "Water Treatment: Principles and Design, Second Edition" published by Wiley (and no, I'm not an MWH employee).

The book is just not that user friendly.
The book has a lot of information, but it is presented in
a format that is not very easy to grasp and apply in the
real world. It is written as a college text without any real thought
to application to the real world application.
A real disappointment.
Most AWWA publications are written in a format that
the reader can grasp and apply the information without a
twenty year college instructor background on the subject.
