This tape is really nice. It has a black backcoating, so that it is easy to see white pencil for splicing. It is thick, which lowers wow and flutter, and makes the tape stronger. Also, the tape is really smooth and plays well. The audio quality is superb. There is no sticky-shed to worry about! I bought two of these tapes, and both came 100% factory sealed, and working like a charm! I couldn't be more satisfied.By the way, the seller only has this tape in stock on 5" reels, so that may help direct you. 5" reels play for 16 minutes on each side at 7 1/2 ips in stereo (on a stereo 4 track recorder), 32 minutes per side at 3 3/4 ips in stereo, and 64 minutes per side at 1 7/8 ips. 32 minutes of pristine audio quality (that you can record yourself) is well worth $15.99! My vintage deck (that has not been restored or tuned up) sounds wonderful with this tape, and the deck is from 1967! If you have an old consumer-end, or maybe even professional deck, this is great tape to buy :)
