This review is from: Quantitative Geography: Perspectives on Spatial Data Analysis (Paperback)
This book is extremely well written and provides comprehendible details on the more advanced geographic concepts and mathematical equations. This book is not for a beginner in quantitative geography. However, if you are either a more advanced student of Geography professional who needs some help understand things such as point pattern analysis, global versus local point interpolation, Thiessen polygons, ect. then I highly recommend this book. This book is also great for more advance students taking a spatial statistics course and keep thinking, "What the heck is my professor talking about." This book can help students to understand the fundamental concepts in spatial statistics.
