This album is the perfect mix of silliness, laughter, and reverence to God. It tackles some of the tougher issues that Christians have to face and still points back to God's never-ending grace. The music is upbeat, catchy, and has its own special flavor to it. I highly recommend this CD for any collection.

I really enjoy this cd. Five Iron Frenzy is just the greatest band ever. Every song on this has powerful meanings. They are breaking up soon so go see them as much as you can before they break up!

OK, I at first got this CD just because I heard the 'rock opera' at the end. My sister had the CD, and at the time I was a devout Supertones fan and didn't believe that any other ska band could be nearly as good, but when I heard the first couple songs I was hooked forever. "My Evil Plan to Save the World" is a lot of fun to sing along to, and so is, well, they're ALL fun to sing along to! Kudos to Reese for the first verse of "One Girl Army." It's so great to find a guy who believes that. "The Untimely Death of Brad" is wickedly funny, and if you ever want a laugh, put on "When I Go Out" and attempt to sing along. And don't forget the last 9 songs! They are complete hilarity! I and my friend were literally rolling on the floor! It's a must-hear! Check it out for yourself!

The musical style of Five Iron Frenzy has matured greatly from their already awesome first release, and it shows in Quantity is Job 1. My Evil Plan to Save the World and Dandelions by themselves would have been worth the price of admission for this EP. With other fantastic songs such as Jeff's beautifully written All That is Good and the irony-laced The Untimely Death of Brad, as well as the usual phunny tracks (When I Go Out rulez! Not to mention Sweet Talkin' Woman and the Rock Opera), this CD surpasses every other one I've ever heard! May FIF's Kingdom of the Dinosaurs rule All That is Good in Christian music forever!

You may think that "Quantity is Job 1" is a strange name for an EP, but when you put it in your CD player, it says it has 17 tracks. 8 tracks make up the awesome and hilariously funny "These are not my pants: The Rock Opera". The last track is another funny song, "Kingdom of the Dinosaurs". The rest of the songs are good too, especially "My Evil Plan to Save the World", "Get Your Riot Gear", and "Sweet Talking Woman". A great CD all-around.

I bought this CD at a concert that I went to of theirs, and I love it! Its awesome! Even my mom loves it. I really like the Rock Opera, I laugh so hard! BUY IT!

Some of you nuts would give five stars to Micah, Jeff the Girl, and company if they whistled the Andy Griffith Tune. The others of you are appalled at the brevity of this album. I say that Quantity Is Job One is the best album yet by a very talented ska band named Five Iron Frenzy. It is also one of the most varied and entertaining CD's around. To be honest, on the first couple run-throughs I thought this tape would be my first FIF to gather dust. But I found the catchy tunes and lyrics running through my head. Lyrically this is a sound CD. The irony of an evil plan to save the world, yet mixed with the comedy involved is simply good songwriting. All that is good might be one of Five Iron's best songs ever, I can't get it out of my head. Dandelions is the most lyrically and musically rich song on the album, another oustanding example of songwriting. One girl army has a fast-paced beat with lyrics you can associate with. MY FAVORITE: Sweet Talkin' Woman. I am absolutely addicted to the shag sound featured in this song. Lyrically blah, but who cares! If you look deep inside yourself you have to admit that you get a chuckle from "When I go Out." "Riot Gear" and "Untimely...Brad" good themes and bass lines. Two songs that grew on me. Finally, The Rock Opera was stupid but I continue to listen to it rewind and listen again and THAT is the main feature of a great song and a great tape.

It took Five Iron a while to figure out how to make good studio recordings, but I think this album is where they finally get it right. The energy and excitement from their live shows makes a strong showing on this album, with only a little studio degredation. Besides just being an excellent recording,some of FIF's best songs are on this album, namely One Girl Army, Dandelions, and Get Your Riot Gear. Overall, it's just an EP, but you get alot for your buck here: Good ska and a Christian band that gets it right. If you're new to FIF this is the place to start.

Ladies & Gentlemen, boys & girls, dogs & cats, fleas & mice, pocket lint & toe jam, I introduce to you...Drum roll please!.....(DA DA DA DA DA DA DA DA DA DA DA).....Oh wait! I just forgot the name of the EP. Oops. Oh well. Well...er...uh this EP has great ska songs on it for all ages from 12 to 122 [Unless you're your own grandpa]. And for anybody who didn't know, there are actually 17 tracks on this EP. The "Pants Rock Opera" is 8 tracks long. Track #17 is a hidden track that goes on for 8 minutes. Well watch "Facts of Life", look both ways before you digest a fourtune cookie and God Bless!

Here's the deal with this fantastic CD, song by song:

Track One- "My Evil Plan to Save the World" may seem a bit too off-beat at first, but stick it out. The lyrics have a nice subtle theme going, and the harmony is sweet- definatly an almost perfect punk-ska sound

Track Two- Sorry, forgot the name, but the transition from track 1 to track 2 is sooooooo sweet- NEVER play this CD in random order. Same kind of sound as My Evil Plan, but a bit lighter

Track Three- "Dandilions" is a soft, harmonic song with fantastic vocals and lyrics- very inspiring stuff. My favorite track on the CD

Track 4- "One Girl Army" is a strong, fast song with yet another great theme- Reese is one smart songwriter...

Track 5- This remake isn't really my favorite, the background vocals sound kinda off to me. But I know many others love it, and it's not really that bad.

Track 6- Funny...

Track 7- My 3rd favorite on the CD (behind Dandelions and My Evil Plan)- the sound has less bass, but doesn't lose any of the appeal: very sweet sound, and even a good vocal spot in the chorus

Track 8- "The Untimely Death of Brad" is pretty funny, especially considering that Brad isn't dead, he's the trumpet player... good transition song to the rock opera....

THE ROCK OPERA- I liked it the first time, it was cool the second time, the third time I still enjoyed listening to it, but I haven't been able to stomach the whole thing since. Only reason this CD didn't get a 5.

Track 17- funny track, fast forward to 5 minutes into the CD and hear the live studio recording of "When I go out" and "Kingdom of the Dinosaurs", as well as an apology/disclaimer at the end.
