"Monte Farber's beautiful work reflects the magic in the world." -Judith Orloff, MD, author of Emotional Freedom

About the Author

Monte Farber is, with his wife, artist/fashion designer Amy Zerner, the author of a series of best-selling self-help books with more than two million copies in print in fourteen languages. Since 1988, the Brooklyn-born Farber has used his friendly, humorous, down-to-earth approach to what he calls "street-smart spirituality" to train people around the world to improve their intuition and decision-making abilities. Says Farber, "The common denominator of all human-caused suffering is poor decision making and it is my mission to reduce that suffering as much as I can. I've already made a difference but Quantum Affirmations will help me make that quantum leap!" His websites are www.MonteFarber.com and www.TheEnchantedWorld.com.

Very well written book!

Positive affirmations work just as well as those negative ones, and the key to doing this is having a set goal and affirmation system worked out for yourself.
Sheri Newton
I recommend this book to everyone who sees life as a journey and wants to be in the forefront of creating their own future.

I know not many people read 3-star reviews, everyone wants to know the worst and the best, but I am here to say I so far sit squarely in the middle. I am up to Chapter 9 and felt compelled to write this after someone gave this book a 1 star amongst all the rave reviews. This book IS incredibly self congratulatory. "This is the most practical, results-orientated daydreaming possible to a human being, and I am proud to be its inventor" - yikes! Does this guy have tickets on himself, or what? But wait, there's more "I am not a scientist, but if I was, I would most likely be like Albert Einstien" (riiiiight!) and that he felt "knighted" by Albert Einstien. Add to this the superior tone, the explanation he is my "mentor" and the really tiresome "my technique", "my affirmations" "my my my my my"etc etc etc and you get the feel this guy is on a real self trip. That's not to say everyone thing he say is useless or self entred - there are some interesting techniques here - the "enmeshing is what I am most interested in. Yet while Farber writes of compassion, he also writes of people who struggle to lose weight as "you are free to feel isolated from life - just you and your excuses for not plunging in and enjoying life to the full. That doesn't sound like much of a party to me, but each to his or her own". Ouch! It's not the content, it's the smugness of the tone that bugs me throughout. I often feel this way about these self satisfied new agey people who think anyone who hasn't dreamed themselves the perfect life yet is somehow inferior, and it bugs the hell out of me as I really do think affirmations and working with the subconscious can be a powerful tool for healing and growth. So there we have it, yet another imperfect, slightly grating but somewhat useful self help book. Tada!

Don't we all want to bend the universe to our will? Well Monte Faber thinks he has the formula. It is a 5-step process he swears by, and offers four case studies of people he has helped to change their lives using it. The steps themselves are quickly laid out, but require a fair amount of reflection on the reader's part to fill in the blanks.
Steps 1 and 2 were to identify your goal and then look at your history around it. As Monte points out, you may well find out that you don't really want what you thought you wanted. As he says, "If you know your question, you know your answer."
Probably the most interesting aspect of the book was the process Monte led his subjects through to arrive at a clear understanding of what they really wanted, and what their gifts were. That was the third step - knowing what you were really good at that came easily to you.

Once you have a clear understanding of your strengths and your goal, you're set to do the quantum bit, which is to combine, or "entangle" them in a visualization he calls "quantumplaytion." I suppose what sets this book apart from most Law of Attraction books, is that it doesn't just urge you on to positive affirmations, but guides you through some of the inner work that raises the likelihood of a positive outcome. He also very sensibly points out that as you go along, you change as a person and your goals probably will change as well.

Whether you are still struggling with what you want to be when you grow up or losing weight, or seeking love or abundance, this book should provide some useful tools to manifest what you desire. Whether it is good psychology, quantum physics or a touch of magic, as long as it works, who cares?

For those trying to make quantum mechanics a reality in daily life, it's like trying to bring moonbeams home in a jar. Albert E showed us that energy and matter are not two different entities on either end of the seesaw, but one and the same, expressing universal mechanics.

Monte takes this principle, applies it to daily life and shows us how the vibration of personal 'energy' can influence our personal 'matter', money, love, and health. I have seen him apply the principles he writes of and have seen him be successful in a difficult field at a challenging time.

As Monte explains some basic principles of QM and the concept of limitless quantum potential, we try to reconcile the fabric of daily existence that shows us time does move forward and eventually all of the infinite potentials collapse into one specific future. Quantum Affirmations can show us how to influence that very event, when all the possibilities converge into definite events and we reap the fruits of our labors.

For me, Quantum Affirmations enthuses in me the energy to keep going, don't quit, keep swinging, stubble, fail, try again. Few of us ever get the guidance we really need to be happy and fulfilled but it is not too late or preordained.

Monte suggests investigating the principles he mentions in parentheses, such as 'entanglement' and 'nonlocality'. After doing that, intuitive energy exercises take on a new perspective and dare I say, validity.

At first glance the title of this book led me to believe it would be filled with powerful positive statements and instructions on how to construct the best possible affirmation to change your life. Upon reading it I soon realized that traditional affirmations were not the basis of this powerful method to manifest the life you want. Instead, author Monte Farber has taken the Law of Attraction and coupled it with quantum physics principles to create his Quantum Affirmations practice. The practice includes getting clear about what you want, examining why you haven't achieved it yet, identifying your gift, and finally entangling your gift with your goal through "quantumplaytion" at least twice a day (another way of saying visualization). In addition to the explanation of how to use this unique practice, the author has included four case studies to illustrate how the process works, as well as a list of affirmations that can be used with the visualizations for better results.

If you have practiced affirmations or other Law of Attraction visualizations before, you may have had difficulty in having a felt experience of already having achieved the life you want, which ought to accompany the affrimations. The strategies in Quantum Affirmations works around such difficutlies by instead tapping into the feeling that comes from what you are already good at and combining it with your goal, to create an innovative way of using visualization to assist you in seeing, believing, and living the life of your dreams.
