QUANTUM ASTROLOGY

How astonishing it is when we can step beyond the binding ideology that holds us to the concept of living our lives along the path of a line, the sense of being trapped in a box. Instead, we awaken to find ourselves traveling a spiral, a circle, where suddenly, the overlapping clues of synchronicity and coincidence make perfect sense, because our circular travels overlap what has already been and what is to be. We break free of the line, and we see the beautiful circles that life forms around us and through us.

That is what this inspiring DVD, Quantum Astrology, offers. I have to admit, I was already excited about this particular exploration of astrology before I even opened the package. With the recent increased public interest in all things quantum, I, too, had become caught up in the possibilities that this view of the world could offer, but I had never considered its implications in the realm of astrology. Rick Levine's insight into this subject has expanded my core understanding of what the art and science - yes, I will now say "science" - of astrology has to offer us all. Through fascinating examples, Mr. Levine truly awakens that sixth sense we all crave when we seek knowledge - the "Ah-ha!" moment of understanding and comprehension. After watching this DVD, I could only think about how soon he might be willing to offer us more, because I certainly do want much more of this.

I can't thank Sacred Mysteries Productions enough for this offering. It is a truly important synthesis of philosophy, science, and ancient knowledge in the context of the modern world. They are, indeed, living up to their Sacred Mysteries name, and I look forward to exploring all they have to share with us. Refreshing and amazing!

I've studied metaphysics for years, but astrology seemed alien to me for some reason. Though this DVD wasn't a specific "how to" or a long definition of astrology, I finally understand how it works. The information was clear and easy to understand. The diagrams were very helpful in reinforcing the message. And like another reviewer, I was glued to the screen. It gave me a lot to think about, for the past, future, and the present. I highly recommend it, especially if astrology seems interesting yet fuzzy to you.

I enjoyed and appreciated seeing this done on dvd. I am an older astrologer and greatly enjoyed this presentation of some interesting views,facts and pictures. I plan to share this with a group. It is a good perspective to always keep in mind.

Disappointed. The heading was really promising. In fact it was just an ordinary astrological review. Review itself was good and smart.

The first half of this dvd is a gem. The second half - yes, it does have a lot of pretty boring Rick talking about world events as they pertain to Pluto. My husband is fairly new to astrology with only a basic understanding - he loved the first half, and hated the second.

I have studied astrology for years. I enjoyed the first half better than the second, but I did feel the second half gave me insight. It was just that it was less of a multi-media presentation (like the first half)and more of a boring lecture.

I do think this is a good dvd to watch if you want to learn more about how most of us believes 'it works.'

Very good case for Astrology as a true science. This DVD takes astrology out of the woo-woo fortune-telling realm and places it firmly alongside quantum physics and other legitimate sciences. Mr. Levine clearly shows with outstanding computer animations how astrology is based on a solar and galactic clock, one that runs on cosmic time, i.e., one that is so slow we must look at it's influences in terms of centuries and mellenia of time, not days, years or even decades. He shows historical events, both human and astronomical over the past 5000 years, which consistently align with particular planetary confluences, and how astrology can be used, not to predict the future, but just as our current time-keeping clocks, to help us understand the times we are in. Recommended for anyone who does not believe in or understand the basic concepts of Astrology, but wants to explore.

Amazon tells me that "the community" shows a high interest in my reviews and has requested that I upload a photo of myself for my profile page. Most likely, my tendency to be truthful to a fault has attracted someone who would like to make a dartboard out of my face. Well, far be it from me to disappoint. So here I go with my review of this DVD: Astrology 101 with occasional mention of nebulous quantum concepts. Entertaining graphics-the best part of the video. Excellent for newbies on the New Age scene - been there, done that, packed my toys away. What remains is an extensive (and expensive!)esoteric library going back nearly half of a century to lend occasional guidance to thirty plus years as a spirit-centered astrologer. Trust me - this DVD is sadly lacking in both content and technical presentation. I almost felt sorry for Rick Levine as he sat in front of that big cold fireplace reading the teleprompter with his flat-lined voice echoing around the room (can you say "acoustics"?) For the first time in my life, I found myself turning off a tape/DVD because it was annoying me to no end. Save your money and buy yourself a good general astrology primer. And send a good thought for Sacred Mysteries; I'm sure that they mean well.

Absolutely amazing information. Very, very educational. For the sceptical, scientifically minded - this DVD is absolutely perfect. Bottom line is that you either UNDERSTAND the science/ mathematics/ physics/ metaphysics of astrology, or you dont - no faith or belief system needed or required; The science of astrology is not of religion, superstition, faith or belief - anymore than the forces of the moon phases controlling the ebb and flow of Earth's ocean tides would be.
This DVD explains things from a scientific electromagnetic perspective, that allows you to UNDERSTAND astrological astrophysics. Highly recommended.
P.S The DVD format is basic, has no wiz bang graphics, no fancy lighting or music, no remarkable locations or backdrops, no sound effects, its not hollywooded, no ability to skip to different chapters etc etc - its simple but superb.

I thought this was a good introduction to Astrology. I've been practicing and learning Astrology for about 3 years and it's helped me fill in the gaps in my studies and understand Astrology more. Rick Levine is a good speaker, and is able to speak clear and to the point. There isn't much filler, just examples and analogies which help you understand the subject more. I thought the transit/history part was a bit boring, but somewhat necessary. I suppose some of us didn't really like history class.

Overall, I enjoyed it. I wish more Astrologers would be able to present as good as Rick did, he did a great job providing good visuals and music.

Well title sound promising. Some explanations of major event looked like they match to some stars alignment until Mr Levine started talk about events what I know a little better such as two leaders on different sides of front line in World War II. So Mr Levine pointed at year 1931 saying that at this year two leaders (mentioned below) "..coming to power" because of Saturn - Pluto alignment along with Cancer zodiac sign. Here we go. Cancer 21 June - 22 July has nothing to do with that two leaders or their career. Stalin was born on Dec. 21, 1879, Hitler - April 20th 1889. Now about magic 1931. Here is a facts:

" ... By 1921 Adolf Hitler had virtually secured total control of the Nazi party.
March 1933. The powers of legislation was taken away from the Reichstag and transferred to Hitler's cabinet for a period of four years. He was appointed Chancellor of Germany on January 30th 1933.
Stalin was elected General Secretary of the Party in 1922, and began to increase his personal power. By 1930, he stood alone atop the Party and the Soviet Union... "
So as you can see there is not major event on 1931 regarding to these persons.
I'm not going to dig up the other facts. It just enough to say that for me now astrology looks like an edge smearing of accuracy. However the stars has influence on us. For example there was Russian astronomer Anatoly Dyakov (1911--1985) who by studding the Sun activities predicted the weather on Earth with precise accuracy predicting in the summer of 1972 on the Central Russian elevation fall great dryness and frost in France. Here is some facts of underestimating the skeptics: Paris, France. Reciprocal telegram: To [a]. [V]. [Dyakov], Temir Tau, the USSR (in sufficient- after all the lenient tone): "Thanks for the dispatch, and in particular for the urgency. We already dress into the warm mantle" (allegedly, ha ha, healthily frightened us you, Russian associate!). On December 21, 1978 - very beginning of the promised By [dyakovym] unprecedented frost in France. Strong temperature drop in Europe produced a sharp increase in the expenditure of electric power... Many plants and factories ended work... Trains froze... Damage is evaluated at four billion French Francs.
Well I can't recall that Mr Levine mentioned these events.

In my opinion there is a connection between us and stars. It just looks like astrologists can't put all ends together to give accurate picture of this connection.
As for DVD itself I can't give more stars because there is no chapters so you can't jump to the next episode if you want to continue to watch it next time, there is not background music, there is only one person constantly talking, there is not enough illustrations and animations, there are a lot dates which Mr Levine trying to squeeze in to Saturn - Pluto alignment.
