If it were possible to give this six stars, I would! Tonya is a true renegade. Her youthful appearance is a testimonial that her diet works. Before I read this book, I thought I had heard it all: the raw food diet,the calorie-restricted longevity diet, fasting, juice dieting, living on prana. But in her book, Tonya combines all of this in a 24-hour cycle!

Tonya points out that eating little is more important than even eating raw. Not only for health, but the spirit: Buddhist monks and nuns don't eat after noon! And it helps with weight loss and general health when most of the food is eaten early in the day. Tonya doesn't eat or drink (even water!) after 2:00 PM, but suggests we start with 6:00 PM and gradually make it earlier.

But don't even think of feeling deprived! Tonya promises us that the pleasure of not eating outweighs the pleasure of eating. "You experience tremendous joy, and feelings of sublime ecstasy come over you. The realization strikes your that this feeling is what you have looked for all your life."

I thought I had heard just about everything, but was so surprised to find out about D2O ("heavy water"), which is not something we want. This was something I had never heard of before.

Tonya uses science from various disciplines to back up her theories, including physics, as well as the meridian channels of Chinese medicine, with the hours the energy passes through them. She mixes in humor with her natural comic nature.

I really liked this book. Even though I am familiar with many concepts presented there I still found it very informational and really inspiring. I've been trying to switch to the 100% raw food diet for many years and failed again and again. This book keeps one very motivated. My problem is I am very thin and every time I try raw food for an extensive period of time I lose weight big time. As a result, my diet is about 70% raw and the rest of it is minimally cooked vegetarian food. I would highly recommend the raw food diet to anyone who needs to lose weight.
Tonya gives very good explanation why we need raw food and how easy it is to be healthy with it. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to have healthy body, more energy, and youthful appearance.

This product was just awesome - the quality of the book itself was better than described by the seller and the content of this book has allowed us to alter our lives. We are fired up and totally engaged in full living. This book has embedded wisdom within. This may not be the first book to start with for many. Try "12 Steps to a Raw Diet, Victoria Boutenko" first but, definitly read this book as the follow up.

Anything she does follow it. Tonya Zavasta is a quantum pioneer, just look at her pictures, and you`ll see everything she "preaches" does work indeed. To follow her recommendation takes courage though, sometimes I wonder if I eat enough, yet I feel good. To stop eating at 2pm no I`m not there yet (it` between 4pm and 5pm) but I`m doing the dry fast average14-17 hours. Sometimes I`m fluctuating between my different raw books and "schools" but somehow I always returning to Zavasta`s ideas and rightly so.
