This review is from: Quantum Fields and Strings: A Course for Mathematicians (Paperback)
These articles are great. They do well in delineating the conceptual and rigorous frameworks of the subjects.
Included are exercises (and solutions) culminating from the problem sessions held at Quantum Field Theory program at IAS. Physicists interested in the mathematical aspects of quantum field/string theory would do well to read these volumes as well. Deserving, in my opinion, more than 5 stars -- many more!!

This review is from: Quantum Fields and Strings: A Course for Mathematicians (Paperback)
A real book for a real mathematician. If you are a mathematician learning to apply math to quantum physics, do not go without this book series. It is exceptional!! Mathematically written with variety and depth not met in any other resource that I have seen specifically relating the two. You will not be unhappy with this, I guarantee it. <3 <3 this book series. |
