The book does contain insights on what health care leaders should watch for in the 21st century. However, simple advice takes pages to get the point across. I believe the whole book could be presented in 1/3 of its size without loosing its main focus.

1.0 out of 5 stars YAWN!, November 8, 2010

This book was the most boring, redundant, book I've read in a while. The author loves to ramble on for eternity on a single thought, but never explains it. Grr. It was infuriating to read.

1.0 out of 5 stars Would NOT recommend, September 28, 2010

This review is from: Quantum Leadership: A Resource for Healthcare Innovation, Second Edition (Hardcover)
This is a required book for school. It is very wordy and confusing. I've read many textbooks and this one, by far, is the worst. I find myself having to read the same chapter over and over to figure out what the author is trying to say. I feel like the author just wanted to get a book written without any regard for those who actually have to read it. I'm also frustrated with my Professor for using this book for a leadership class. There are graphics in the book that 'look good' but make no sense. I'd much prefer a practical book that I can understand than one where the author is trying to show off by using big words in sentences that don't make sense.
