This product really has been extremely effective in reducing the duration and severity of my headaches.
The key to it's effectiveness is that it must be used as directed - that is you must take one pill two times a day for at least several weeks before you start to notice an improvement in your symptoms. ( I take 3 a day.)
I have been using migrelief for over a year and my once dibilitating headaches are now infrequent and are generally quite managable when they occurr. (From time to time, however I still get a bad one.)
Although not advised by the seller I have found that I benefit if I take a larger than recommended dosage when I feel an episode coming on.
In brief, I cannot overstate how beneficial this product has been for me.
I consider anyone with a migrain problem foolish not to give it a try.

My 15 year old son used to suffer from migraines on a weekly basis, sometimes twice weekly. His neuroligist suggested Migrelief after my son found Imitrex and similar products to be unsatisfactory. He just takes one tablet in the morning every day. As long as he keeps taking the pills everyday he does not suffer from migraines at all. His migraines are now a thing of the past!!!

I suffered a headache every day for the last 10 years and Migraines about 20 years. The problem was my migraines were so bad and so often that I got addicted to Excedrin and I could no longer tell the difference between a migraine and rebound headache. Rebound is when the drug leaves your body and the headache is a result of withdrawel.

My body would adapt to excedrin and I have been trying to kick it for at least 3 years. At one point I would get tension in my shoulders and neck as soon as the pills wore off along with the headache. I discovered some things by accident that took me from 6 pills a day down to 1 or 2. I found deep breathing when I was trying to lose weight on bodyflex. You can youtube it and just do the breathing, don't bother buying it. It looks silly but if you start doing it as soon as you feel a headache coming, I found it lessened it enough to where I could cut down on the pill taking.

So now im back down to 1 to 2 Excedrin's a day. A improvement and I wasn't AS concerned I was destroying my liver as I had been before, but still it is a chemical and I wanted to give my body a long vacation from them. I then remembered reviews on Feverfew so I came to look it up here and found this product.

This was not easy, I stopped Excedrin cold turkey. I took like one advil along with this product right before bed so I could actually sleep, other wise I suffered with it. The next day I took one of those 81mg asprins before bed. Third day, I took an extra Migrelief and I was able not to take aspirin.

I also stayed in bed most of the three days because I found my headaches came quicker if I was up and moving about. It took 3 to 4 days of this before I realized, woah I didn't have a headache today. I've been off aspirin for about a week and a half now. I think I've had 2 headches but they were so mild they eventually went away on their own. All I take now is the Migrelief. Sometimes I feel a headache about to start and if I haven't had both pills I'll take one and the headache faded.

This is huge for me! I had a headache every day for 10 years and now I've had like 5 days with no headache. This stuff really really works. Like I said it took about I would say 4 days of taking it faithfully before it started to work for me. Give it a chance and time to build up in your system and it might work for you too.

**Update May 27th 2009**
Well its now been two months I think now I averages a couple of very mild headaches a month. This product REALLY worked for me. I haven't had aspirin in 2 months, I'm now switching to a low glycemic way of eating and I feel great. No longer is my life revolving around the fact I'm due a headache in a few hours. I'm working on getting my blood levels alkaline for maximum health and hopefully to fix getting even a couple of mild headaches from every returning.

**UPDATE Jan 2011** I decided to add an update to tell you how things are. I'm back at having a headache every day go figure. Although, if I don't take Migrelief they are a bear to get under control. Migrelief makes them manageable and on average I take one to two aspirin to get rid of a migraine.... that is until I discovered Natural Vitality's Natural Calm. Look it up here on Amazon. This product has changed my life. I bought it to help fight my anxiety, and I discovered something completely by accident. I upped my dose to two or three teaspoon just as I felt a Migraine coming. (I wasn't taking it for the Migraine.) and like that, the migraine went away. Never, ever had that happened unless I was taking aspirin.. and even then not that fast. It turns out that Natural Vitality is a water soluble magnesium and one of the side effects of a magnesium deficiency is migraines. If you've tried everything, I'd beg you to give this stuff a try. I haven't had even a peep of a headache in a few days now.. its amazing!

My Neurologist started me on these a few years ago. One tablet in the morning and one at night. It slowed down the number of Migraines I had! Instead of one Migraine every other day. I now have one once a month. I also seldom go full blown. If that happen, Maxalt really helps. AND just a heads up........ Your urine will be very yellow. Drink lots of water also.

I've been suffering from migraines since I was 13 (I'm now 25). I've been perscribed both Relpax and Imitrex. Relpax didn't help at all and Imitrex worked somewhat but always made me feel strange (I don't even know how to describe it) so I tried not to take it unless I really needed it, otherwise I would just suffer through the pain until it went away. So I heard about MigreLief about a year ago and my initial thought was "Why would these pharmaceutical companies spend so much time and money to develop the medications I've been taking when there is for all intents and purposes a vitamin pill that can cure me?" So I never even tried it. So a little over a month ago I had an awful migraine and I said "I have to try this stuff. I have to try anything that might work." So I bought it. I can't tell you how amazed I am by this product. I haven't had a migraine (or even a headache for that matter) since I've been taking this stuff for a month now. For the past 12-13 years I've never gone a month without a migraine. I used to get about 1-2 a week. Now, nothing! My life always revolved around "What if I get a migraine?" "What if I get a migraine while I'm on vacation? What if I get a migraine on my wedding day? What if I get a migraine during a show? (I'm a drummer in a band), What if I get a migraine at Christmas? etc." There was always this fear that something would be ruined because I'd be suffering a migraine attack. Now, I don't have to worry about it. It's unreal. I was a total skeptic proven dead wrong. Just give one bottle a try, I'm so glad I did! My only regret is that I didn't try it sooner. MigreLief is a godsend!

My son has been getting a migraine about every 4 weeks for the past 3 years. These episodes were horrible to watch with vomiting followed by 6 hours sleep and then general lethargy and weakness.

Since starting to take Migrelief my son has now gone more than 16 weeks without one migraine. We are all pretty happy about that.

Everyone might not get the same results but it's definitely worth a try. We're never going to be out of this stuff!

I was skeptical at first, but I have been using this for over 3 months now and within 2-3 weeks of taking it consistently, my migraines have stopped. I had used Topamax for 7 years and was sick of the side effects, so I wanted to find an alternative. Between the time I stopped the Topamax and started the Migrelief I was back to 4 - 6 migraines a month. And so far with the Migrelief...none. And no side effects! I am a believer. Having gone through 20 yrs of migraine/tension headaches with no relief but through prescription meds that were both expensive and had undesireable side effects, this has worked for me. I noticed a real difference in about 2-4 weeks. I stay on them each day and have been free of headaches for about a year now. Thank you.

A couple of months ago, I suddenly started getting up to 2 migraines a day. I had no idea what caused it, or how to make it stop. Migraine abortive meds (Maxalt, Frova) weren't working to stop them. I had missed several days of work, or would have to leave suddenly when another migraine hit. I was afraid I would never be able to work again, and that I would be suffering from constant pain. I researched online and found that a magnesium deficiency can sometimes cause migraines. I went to the store and picked up a bottle of magnesium tablets. The migraines started to decrease, but I was still getting them. I decided to try a different supplement to see if it worked. It did! Since I have started taking these tablets (almost 2 months ago), I have had only 2 migraines. One the night after I didn't take one of these tablets, and another that was so mild I was actually able to go to work.

The bottle says to take 2 daily, but I'm only taking 1 and they are working. At first, they did cause some pretty bad diarrhea for about 2-3 weeks, but that has stopped. It also causes your urine to be bright yellow because of the excess Vitamin B, but it's just interesting looking, not actually a problem :-) I guess if my migraines come back, I'll take the recommended dosage of 2 a day, but since just 1 a day is working, I'm extremely pleased. The only reason I didn't give this product 5 stars was because of the diarrhea it caused, but like I said, that's now gone.

As a longtime migraine sufferer, I frequently have migraines that last for days, or come and go several times a day. This product was recommended to me by my neurologist and really does work. I noticed relief after about one week. Other products and medications that I have tried did not work or had side effects.
