Amazon is attributing this set to the wrong author,

Amazon is attributing this 2-volume set to the wrong writer. The real author is, of course, Steven Weinberg (no middle initial), who is also the author of "Cosmology," and "Gravitation and Cosmology." Let's hope Amazon straightens this out.

As with Weinberg's first volume, this text can be difficult to follow due to dense notation and, at times, a somewhat overly general approach. However, it is well worth the effort. Weinberg provides extraordinary insight, and he offers a unique perspective in his presentation.
