Customer Reviews

It would not bring in ANY channels.
Patsy Owenby
The base's suction cup is pretty weak, don't count on it to stick to surfaces too long.

The product shipped in a timely manner, didn't have any defects, but felt pretty cheap. I wasn't expecting much out of a $11-ish antenna, so I was content with the five DTV channels it could pick up. Only one of these five was actually HD, the rest just being free over-the-air programming. The disheartening fact was that the included base and extension arm were useless. The suction base would not stick on a horizontal surface, which is pretty hard to do since gravity is already on it's side...the included arm broke within three adjustments, so I now have to utilize duct tape. Not a huge waste of money, but there are definitely better products you can scope out.

Even though I live close to Boston where several over the air digital TV signals are strong, this antenna has trouble bringing in even the strongest signals with any consistency.
Reception is dependent on the weather and time of day. From my experience, this item is either over rated by Amazon users or there is a big difference in how it works depending on where you live.

I bought & tested this antenna next to the TV. It worked great so I placed it in a plastic pail with a lid, weighed it down a bit inside & put it up out of the way on the roof, pointed toward the mountain where the broadcast antennas are here. The programming I receive is almost as good as what I was getting from the cable company and the picture & sound is perfect on each of the many channels. :-))

This little blue guy is sold on Amazon by various vendors with a variety of names & decorative streaks on it. I have bought several more now for friends & found that it pays to compare each time for the lowest delivered price on that day, so I suggest the same.

If you're within range of your local broadcast towers you'll love this antenna no matter what "brand" it says it is!

I recently decided to "cut the cord" but I wanted to still have access to the local networks I purchased one of these and a Mohu Leaf. I live 43 miles from the broadcasting towers in Baltimore. This antenna was able to pick up ABC, CBS, Fox, PBS, the CW, MY24, and even some channels I didn't know existed. I can not get it to pick up the local NBC affilate, even with an amp. As a comparision, the leaf ($70) was able to pick up NBC but not PBS. So the leaf will be used in my living room and I'm going to use this one in my bed room and order another one for the spare room.

It didn't make any difference in tv signal. I bought a splitter and connect both my old rabbit antenna and GFX and then made just a little difference. No more channels added.

Gave this one to my daughter. They get all the local HD channels without any difficulty. Now my grand kids can enjoy they're favorite shows without the expense of cable.

Well, it is not too bad. I have it set up in the bedrooms and it will not matter if you only get 7 channels or so. I am not paying for
cable, so that is good.

Perhaps Florida is not th enlace for something like this. I've had expensive external roof mounted units that work perfectly. But this misses the mark. Save up for something better...
