One of my favorite rap duo's has blessed us with what is rumored to be their last studio release. What I have loved about this group is that they constantly evolved musically and were not afraid to experiment with new sounds without abandoning their beliefs. It was always a fresh and very good mix of cool content, real life analogies and fresh music. My only gripe is that this is the last album and that there were only ten tracks. I guess I'm just greedy. Anyone who likes Grits will love this album.

I like GRITS a lot, most of the time. They always seem to have 2 or 3 songs though that are questionable. Like OMG - I'm not into using that phrase as freely and openly as the rest of the world, and Fresh - love the beat, and yes I feel fresh, but not because of what I wear or drive (because my minivan is anything but fresh), I think of feeling Fresh as a state of mind. Anyway, I have said all that to say I wish they would make a biblically sound record through and through so I didn't have to skip songs. But compared to what the secular artist are putting on the radio, they are very tame.

Grits are without question one of the top acts out. I am a huge fan of their albums but this one seemed to lack a little creativity. This album is very good but not a classic like I have been used to hearing. Tracks 1-3 are vintage Grits. After that, the ride slows down. Love to hear positive christian music and hope that they continue to put out amazing work in the future.

I love their variety of beats and their lyrics always are tasteful and makes you think. They rocked the house and did it again.

After downloading this album and listening to it all day, I thought I would sit down and write a small review. This is one of my favorite albums by Grits to date. They went back to their roots on this album and it really shows. This album should have no problem selling at all. I wish them all the luck and will continue to support them as an artist as long as they keep God number 1 and centered at the heart of the music!

This cd is an amazing return for Grits to the style that made me like them in the first place. Way better then Dichatamy B, and some other later projects, more on the "Art of Translation" type sound. Sick Beats you will definitely be happy with this CD.
