I read some reviews of new father books and this one had some good reviews so I took a chance and ordered it for my son since I know he loves football. To my happiness he said it was a really great book and not only had humor in it but helped him a lot. He liked the way they put him as the quarterback, the expectant mom as the coach, and the baby as the owner of the team. So I guess I have to agree with other reviews. If your looking for a guys book for guys on becoming a Dad my son and I recommend this one.

I've got a bunch of "new dad" books, but this one is soooo funny, yet so very practical too. It's an easy read and you'll laugh all the way through. Perfect for the ESPN-Dad.

A must read for new parents!

I bought this book for a "new Dad" friend of mine. The book is informative and funny. Written in a straight forward language, it will teach you and make you laugh. I would highly reccommend this book not only for new dads, but also for new moms. Perfect for anybody that enjoys sports. The part about registering for baby stuff is priceless. And I have decided to go with a zone defense for my next holiday party. Definitely five stars! And when your kid gets a little older and inquisitive buy him Mercer's book "Smash It, Crash It, Launch It". I own it and rate it five stars too.

I bought this book for my husband and he loved it. He read it over the first weekend he had it. I have seen him open it several times since then. I have read parts of it and it is very funny and informative. It is written for guys, but I really enjoyed it myself. I think any new parent could benefit from it. The hints and advice are clear and easy to understand. This book and Be Prepared are the best dad books I have seen. They both combine humor and being helpful.

On two different occassions, I purchased two of these books as gifts for soon to be dads who are also football fans. These guys seem to like the books. I thought it was convenient since it's kind of hard to find a good gift for the expecting "father".

I bought this book for my husband and even though he's a big sports guy, he said the information was a bit cheesy.

Very happy with the service and the product. The book I got is exactly what I was looking for. We have our first GReat Grandchild. This book is great for our Grandson.

I don't consider myself to be a smart person, so I was disappointed when I didn't learn anything from this book that I didn't already know. I did think it was clever the way the book was organized into familiar sports terms but that wasn't enough IMO to make this book worth a read. There isn't any bad information in the book, but you can save a few dollars and won't be any less wise about babies.

I plan to donate my copy to the public library.

I am VERY unsatisfied by this company. Not only did I NEVER receive the product but after 3 attempts in contacting the seller I NEVER received any correspondence back. I will be sure to NOT use this seller again in the future. Luckily, I was never charged for the product.
