I cannot use the harsh chemicals that are meant for these boards because they make me sick. Don't use this product as a cleaner. Begin by using water and a soft sponge to get the board completely clean. THEN slab this stuff all over the board with a big clean sponge. Let it dry completely--the longer you wait, the easier it is to rub off. Rub off completely with a dry cloth and the board is ready to go. It's not perfect, but I've tried everything and this is the best. Don't wear black because the white flakes go everywhere. Another tip--wash your erasers regularly (don't throw them away just wash with soap and water).

If your whiteboard is giving you problems, then clean it with the spray that you usually use, then use a soft cloth to "wax" on this product. I've seen how a horible whiteboard can go back to new! Teachers, you'd love this stuff!

We had a large dry erase calendar we had gotten from Potterybarn. I ruined it by cleaning it with windex.

I tried all kinds on remedies I saw online, hair spray, turtle wax. I thought that we were no longer going to be able to use it as a whiteboard.

I decided to take a chance on this conditioner. Now the whiteboard is working again. And so far so good.
