Built solid. Built well. A bit heavy for trasporting regularly. We bought ours for family meetings--we have to do all we can to ensure a family with a 13 year old, 16 year old and an 88 year old actually reach agreement on issues!! So our white board goes in and out of the closet regularly. We also use it for bible classes at church on occassion. And so far it's held up well.

It is a quality dry-erase easel. Only two positions though -- All the way to the top or bottom.

We ordered 11 of these for responsive classrooms. 8 out of the 11 arrived broken. Will not reorder a quartet product.
