I bought 2 of these to keep on hand for my toddler. They are a good size for little laps. I plan to keep one in the truck for car trips or to use in restaurants, etc. Great creative busy work for little hands! The picture is a little misleading.... I sorta thought one side would be green chalkboard and the other side would be the white dry wipe board. Such is not the case. You only get 1 side that's a green chalkboard and the backside is just blank/not useable. As with all chalkboards, you have to condition it before using. To condition all you do is rub a piece of chalk all over the board and then wipe off with an eraser. It creates a nice chalky layer.... we've never had any problems writing or drawing on our boards.

I was a little disappointed in the picture...this is simply a chalk board...there is NOT a dry erase side AND there are no lines (line dash line) along the top to practice writing words. But seems to work fine. A damp cloth might work better to erase completely. Also, no chalk was included.
