They write smoothly and the colors are very bright.

I also like the fact that you can see how much ink is left in them- you will easily know when it's time for a new set.
A. Marbach
I really like the fine tip, it's easier for me to write with than the expo, and I can fit more on the board.

For starters, I am currently a college student and, thus, use whiteboard markers a lot: Calculus homework, Chemistry equations, etc. As a result, I have used just about every whiteboard marker brand out there. You name it; I have used it and, sadly, most brands have failed to meet my expectations.

Unfortunately, this brand is no different. Although the colors are quite vibrant or "bold", the markers just do not last very long. The set lasted only about two weeks -- one to two weeks less than most of the other brands I have used. Also, the blue marker sprang a leak after the first week of use and released a torrent of ink all over my desk. On the bright side, at least the spill was "bold" and vibrant, but the marker did have to be thrown out.

So what is the verdict? If you are looking for whiteboard markers that produce vibrant colors consistently and are hoping to test out the ink fountain feature which could come with one of the markers, this is the marker for you. However, if you are looking for markers that will last, there are other brands which last much longer.

I spend quite a bit of time studying flashcards off of the computer using a mini-whiteboard. I had previously bought the BIC Great Erase Grip "Pocket" Dry Erase Marker, Fine Point, Assorted, 6 Dry Erase Markers (GDEP61-Ast) and used each pen until they dried to that level where they just aren't usable anymore... you know what I mean.

I was looking to find longer lasting markers (The BIC 6 pack lasted around 4 months before each color was completely spent), while retaining a fine tip. The Enduraglide seemed to fit the bill, so I made use of Prime, and got a set.

When they arrived, I was initially really into how rich the color was, and being able to see how much ink was left was nice. I used them the same way as I used the BICs (a few hours at a time, a few days a week, capping between long problems and switching colors, etc.), and in less than two weeks BOTH the blue and green are expired! The black one also leaked a bunch of the ink out at one point, which was pretty lame.

I really liked these markers at first, but they just ran out of steam waaaaaaay too fast.

We had a terrible time erasing our whiteboard when we used the Expo markers. The board sales rep said Expo changed their formula and this was the one to buy. IT's definately easier to erase.

As an engineering graduate student, I use whiteboards at least 25 hours per week. Since I have so much to fit on a board at once, I commonly use the finest dry erase markers so that I can compact my work. The fine tipped Expo markers I have been using would stop working if left uncapped for much more than a minute, and the tip would fray and grow wider with use. Their newer models were somewhat better by reducing tip fray, but they would still degrade fairly quickly.

I purchased these after running into the chisel tip version, and won't go back to Expo for a long time. They don't dry out anywhere near as quickly, and the tip feels quite a bit more solid and unlikely to fray. The non-cylindrical cap which prevents rolling away has also come into quite handy, something I didn't realize was a bother until the Quartet markers fixed it.

If you use dry erase boards with any frequency, I recommend that you at least try these, I don't think you'll ever regret it.

Quartet's Enduraglide sieres are clearly the best whiteboard markers out there, by a long shot. Really bold, beautiful color... everything else looks washed-out after you've seen these. It's like writing with a Sharpie except it erases! Great now that you can get them in fine-tip too.

I usually only take the time to write reviews on greater-priced items or larger items, but these markers are so amazingly better performing than any other brand I've ever used that I had to leave some feedback on them. Honestly, it may seem lame, but when you use dry erase markers on a daily or even just a regular basis, it's nice to have some that work well, and these do the trick!

As a home school teacher this is perfect for instructions. Unlike the chisel point this permits for finer writing. Excellent, don't know how I managed without it.

Ever buy a product so satisfying that you regret not buying more? For me this is one of those products. The markers do have very visible bold colors, and the point is fine enough for printing and even some cursive on the white boards we have. My young students are enjoying them, partly as a change of pace from the usual Expo markers they're used to.

I also like the large caps that are easy to find when mislaid on a table or dropped on the floor. The jury is still out on longevity, but so far I am very pleased with these markers.
