This recording has Wynton Marsalis on trumpet performing at his very best. His trumpet manipulations are out of this world, and the trio behind him is outstanding, with Herbie Hancock at the top of his performing. Ron Carter is wonderful with his quick bass playing and his interpretations of the pieces. Percussion is excellent complimenting the rest of the group with rhythmic flair and support. This is a real find for jazz lovers, especially if you like Wynton Marsalis, and who doesn't.
