I ordered this item on January 24 and it arrived at my home 2 days later, January 26th. I'm a single mom and purchased it for my two teenage boys to keep track of their sports schedules, homework due dates and appointments. I'm a single mom and I had no problems mounting this on my wall all by myself. The directions were very simple to understand. I used a level and a measuring tape to help determine that it would mount evenly. The direction indicate the use of a drill but you may only need that IF you hit a stud, which I did not but I used a drill primarily because I own one and I just wanted to follow the directions. It comes with 4 colored dry erase markers but I purchased a multi-colored pack of wet erase so things don't rub off to easy and so that I have more colors for catagories (appts, bday, test, basketball game, no school, holiday, etc.). I have it set up for February, March, April, & May from left to right. As soon as February expires in the upper left-hand corner, I'll replace it with June. I'm utilizing the space in each month that have no calendar days for "NOTES". This thing is awesome and we placed it in a high-traffic area of our home. I swear, most of us are A.D.D. in this household and this will be a huge help to keeping us all on task.

It is what the picture shows. Mine had some junk on the surface that took some time to get off. Also it was more of a pain to mount than similar products I have purchased in the past. That being said, Now that it is on the wall it looks nice and keeps me organized. The shipping took 2 weeks longer than they said it would.
