We have a new winner in the Best Bruckner contest: the Amadeus' reading of the Quintet is very clear and episodic, thus rendering the musical architectonics vividly. In honor of Norbert Brainin--1st violin of the Amadeus--DGG has issued for the first time on CD the Amadeus' readings of Bruckner, Verdi, and Tchaikovsky. Nice!--especially the Bruckner. cf.
