Wow, tremendo disco
La verdad es uno de mis discos favoritos, todo el album esta lleno de sentido de poesia hasta algo de filosia. Elefante era un grupo que hacia falta no solo en Mexico sino en Latino America. Para ser su primer disco merece mas que 5 estrellas.
'ASI ES LA VIDA' se a convertido en el himno de muchos que andamos en busca de buena musica y letras y Elefante da eso y mas en su primer album..... gracias por salir a la luz y compartir con nosotros 'el que busca encuentra'.....

I bought this upon the suggestion of the local 7-11 guy, had only heard Asi Es La Vida on the radio. But, this is a much better disc than that one popular song reveals. In fact, this is one of my all time favorite discs of any kind of music. It has a level of sophistication that is rare in popular music. I have become a promoter for Elefante. The recording is a delight. More please.

I love the music of Elefante. I'm a perpetual student of Spanish and find the music is fun and the words are interesting, poetic and most importantly--intelligible! Take a listen!

It's a cd that is loaded from top to bottom. It's one of those cd's that stand by themselves. You'll have a hard time finding the hits because they are all hits. They now find themselves in the company of Mana, Caifanes(Jaguares), heroes del Silencio, Fobia, Maldita Vecindad, and Miguel Mateo as the top rockers of Spanish Rock.

Ok, this group is a Mexican group so all of the songs are in spanish...
All of the songs specially "Amores Prohibidos" ( Forbidden love ) are a delight to listen carrying meaningful words and the music is frankly the best rock to come from Mexico in ages...

I first encountered the song "Asi Es La Vida" in one of my college Spanish classes. My TA was from Mexico, and she wanted us to learn more about Latin American culture along with the language. She always had us listen to different music and translate the songs, and I fell in love with this song. The rest of the CD is fantastic also! It's shame that most bands from the United States can't put out a CD filled with top-quality songs like Elefante has.
