I really liked this CD!!! I didn't like Lil' Kim until I listened to it. It disscusses sex, drug, and money. If you are offended by these things or are shy about them, don't listen to it! Some people say it sounds like a porno soundtrack, but Kim is just expressing herself. She's a QueenB and knows it. You'll just have to listen to it for yourself.

Kimberly Jones, what more can I say. The debut album of hers "Hardcore" is filled with hardcore rhymes that only the top rappers can even begin to tango with. The tracks "No Time" and "Queen Bitch" prove that right out of the gate, Lil' Kim is a force to be reckon with. The rhymes on "Queen Bitch" alone should be reason enough to purchase this album. Though the CD is hot as hell, I only gave it 4.5 stars because it seemed to me that Lil' Kim wasn't in full control of her music and what she wanted to say, which isn't unusual for artists that are new. That and the fact that "Crush On You" wasn't the version featuring Lil' Kim (Don't go by the Amazon.com listing..it's CoMplEtElY incorrect. Go to Lyrics.com or somewhere like that to get the actual track listings for this album).But nonetheless this album is a classic. She proves that a female MC can hang with the boys and outdo them as well.
