Have used this deodorant for 15 years. Frankly I'm surprised it is not more well-known or readily available. I used to find it in some organic & natural food sections of grocery stores (like
Boneys); but lately, have had to special order it from local source (Fred Meyer). Found it through Amazon; and price is less than old sources. Surprised me to find other varieties of this - so I also ordered the Tea Tree, which I haven't tried as yet.

It is gentle, doesn't sting, or get sticky and works long enough to suit me. It never stains my clothing. I'm surprised its packaging hints at female gender usage; I am a man and receive strange comments when people see it on my bathroom shelf.

The only fault I have ever found with this product - the last half inch or so always falls out of its mount and ends up in the waste basket. Perhaps a round shape would be better.

I bought this since it's all natural agent that helps neutralize unpleasant body odors, inhibits bacterial formation and perspiration. Sure, but for how long? Now to be honest, I never tested how long this lasts however I did notice my under arm odor hit full blast during strenuous activity. Now for me strenuous is yoga and it can get pretty sweaty but it's not incredibly strenuous so I can only imagine it getting worse the harder you workout. As I'm writing this, it's 15:42 and I did a direct inhale at my arm pits without any odor and I applied it around 06:00. This item is definitely not long lasting. All I wanted was something to work for a whole day but I do notice odor before I turn in for the evening. I'm going to try and reapply before my pilates class tonight. Wish me luck!

Cons: May not work under strenuous activity. May require numerous applications.

I like this product and have used it for over 16 years. It is getting harder and harder to procure, as it is only in the organic sections of stores. I have even had to special order it until I went to en-line buying.
I tried to buy it from 2 different sources on Amazon.com and it seems to be back ordered forever. I have NOT received this product from either source, and have given up waiting for its arrival.

I will make one more try and not order if it is not listed "in stock".

This deodorant is the best in the world, but it seems to have been discontinued because it was on back order with no hope and I got a refund instead of the product. I am very sad.

I too have been trying for months, with no success, to get Queen Helene Mint Julep Deodorant (I have been using it for years and usually order 3 at a time). Today I finally called the phone number that is listed on QueenHelene.com, and the operator told me that the product is being redesigned and will be back on the market in February or March 2008. (Let's just hope they don't change what's so good about it!)
