Excellent Product, Great Price!,
By Mish (CA, USA) - See all my reviews The MANY advantages of this lotion are as follows: 1. It is less than $3 for a 32 oz bottle. So you wouldn't feel bad even you put it all over your body :) 2. You can feel that your skin is much smoother even after one use! (no jokes!) 3. It doesn't clog your pores 4. You can put this on literally everywhere on your body. I use it on my face/ undereye and it doesn't cause break-out/ leave my face greasy even I have oily skin! 5. It absorbs quickly 6. It doesn't give you a greasy/ oily feeling 7. It has that subtle vanilla smell (I won't like it if it's too strong) 8. I belive your skin will be so smooth w/o wrinkles and you will look younger with continous use :) ... Well these are the advantages I can think of right now. And for this price, you should really give it a try. You won't regret!

The best lotion on this planet.,
This review is from: Queen Helene Hand and Body Lotion, Cocoa Butter, 32 oz. (Misc.)
Now, first of all I am surprised I don't see other people review this product on here. I found this lotion years ago, and I have never looked back. It smells great, it's very creamy, yet it's not greasy, it does its job well. I have met many-many women that swear by this product. And the fact that it's cheap, makes it that much better.
If you haven't allready tried it, go ahead and give it a shot, you won't regret it.

Cosmetic Solutions,

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Queen Helene Cocoa Butter Hand and Body Lotion Body Lotions (Misc.)
The product is good but the company Cosmetic Solutions is BAD. I ordered 3 32oz bottles of Cocoa Butter and 3 16oz bottles of the Mango & Cocoa Butter. All of it smells great and I guess for lotion it is good. The products were bought for the wife for Christmas.
The problem I have is with the company. They packed all of this in one Post Office box, the square one about 10x10x8 inches. I opened the box after the US Post Office delivered it and it was just the bottles in this box with no packing at all. This would be fine if it was being hand carried next door and set down on the door step gently, but know it traveled from the North East US to Clearwater, Florida by the US Post Office. Now, for what you are waiting for, two of the 32oz bottles of Cocoa Butter had their lids loose. So about 32oz leaked out of the two bottles. It was a mess. Oh, let me correct myself, there was about two handfuls of the packing peanuts in the box. It was easy getting rid of the peanuts since they were covered with Cocoa Butter. I'm surprised this stuff was not coming out of the box. I contacted the company. I told them I would give them a chance to make this right before posting feedback and my review of them. They failed to contact me promptly as you can tell. If they do make good I may update my review of them. Remember the name *** "COSMETIC SOLUTIONS" *** and not in a good way.

I Love It for the Ingredients, the Price, and the Results!,
This review is from: Queen Helene Hand and Body Lotion, Cocoa Butter, 32 oz. (Misc.)
Most people reach for cocoa butter when they are pregnant. I, however, first started using cocoa butter when I heard about the harmful chemicals present in so many other lotions. I used Palmer's for about a year, though I didn't prefer the cost of it.
A few months ago I had Pityriasis Rosea (an unexplained, rash-like, short-lived skin condition) and I read that keeping the skin well moisturized would help with the itch. I went shopping for more Palmer's and decided to browse for other options as well. I picked up Queen Helene, which was MUCH less expensive for the amount they give you, compared the ingredients with Palmer's, and found that, like Palmer's, Queen Helene did not contain harmful chemicals. Queen Helene was just what I needed for the pityriasis rosea, keeping my skin so soft and smooth that I was hardly bothered by the condition. I love it so much that I keep using it just as much even though the rash has faded. I love the fragrance, which reminds me faintly of cocoa and coconut. Very beachy and warm. In contrast, I merely tolerated Palmer's fragrance, which was way too chocolatey for what I want on my hands and body. This lotion makes my skin so soft and smooth, and I feel good because I know it's natural and good for me. It's also great after sunburns to keep the skin from drying out and peeling too much. I'm very satisfied with this lotion!

Nice Smell, Not Greasy, Actually Absorbs,
By Adam Snetiker (California, USA) - See all my reviews

I just bought this recently and already love it. I'm somewhat partial to name brands, so a while ago I got Burt's Bees Hand Repair cream with shea butter. It smelled terrible and got all over everything I touched after I used it.
Queen Helene Cocoa Butter lotion has a much better smell, and my hands feel more hydrated but the product actually got absorbed. I'm typing this right after using it and there's not a hint of grease on the keyboard. 5 stars so far.

Perfection in every respect,
By Mira Nikolova (Bronx, New York United States) - See all my reviews

Like other reviewers, I found this lotion many years ago when I was visiting in the US. I live in Europe and go to great lengths to obtain it but I've never thought of using anything else. Before, I had been trying many other lotions by famous brands and very expensive but nothing really quite worked, they were either too scented, left greasy marks, or irritated my sensitive skin.
This lotions moisturizes really well without any oily leftovers and is very soothing to the skin. I use it mainly on my face and hands. And I love the smell, its soft and sweet and very mild and it somehow smells natural. Many people compliment me on the smell and get very excited over the scent when they get to sniff it. I love this product so much I thought I'd leave a recommendation for other people to try it. |
