The item is very badly built. If you were given a saw and wood, you would build much better even if you do not have any woodcutting skills. There are a lot of cracks all over wooded components. The only good thing about this foundation is easy to assemble and fast shipping

It was pretty easy to put together, once I figured out how to read the directions. It was my fault I didn't look at both pictures before I ordered the foundation. I would have just used my old one had I known it would be almost exactly the same thing. It's light weight, though, and easy to manage.
