Zipper broke,

It fit my queen size pillow top mattress, but the zipper broke when I tried to zip it (used safety pins to close it), But it still took care of the problem of my sheets and mattress cover slipping off of my plastic mattress cover which is why I purchased it to begin with.

This plain cotton mattress cover was just what I need to replace a torn upcover on my cheap IKEA foam mattress. (no slave to fashion here) I had no problem with the zippper; however, the zipper is small light plastic (no-rust). If you have a tight fit, the teeth on the zipper may pull apart. Shipping was prompt. The product says, made in you-know-where. :-) Since it is unbleached cotton, it is an off-white color. I would knock off half a star for the zipper. The fabric feels adequate to its purpose. Price was right. |
