Editorial Reviews

First single to be taken from his 2002 debut The Fine Art Of Self Destruction (produced by Ryan Adams), Malin writes vivid songs with killer tunes & sings them with scary conviction. The title track is backed with 'Cigarettes & Violets' & Stranger Than Fo

5.0 out of 5 stars hank, go away, February 27, 2011

This review is from: Queen of the Underworld (Audio CD)
Well, the previous reviewer decided to give an opinion based on his thoughts about the cd cover art. Um, okay. This is a great cd ep with a Springsteen, Replacements kind of feel. I'd suggest starting with his full length 'the fine art of self destruction' and see if you like his sound. Malin is in every way a 'new york' musician which is why I'd guess he used this cover. But let's just give a comment because we're close minded, shall we?

1.0 out of 5 stars LOVE the way he stole the cover!, October 9, 2008
This review is from: Queen of the Underworld (Audio CD)
I've never heard of this artist, but the cover of this album is lifted directly from the poster for Martin Scorsese's "Mean Streets." I have to admire the directness of his theft.
