Queen Size White Storage Bed with Bookcase Headboard

I bought the queen bed, headboard, night stand, and dresser for my teenage daughters room all for about $750 delivered which is a great price compared to the other furniture we looked at in town and online. I would consider myself handy and have a fair amount of experience with putting together furniture and I would consider these furniture items to be in the challenging-hard range for level of difficulty to put together and make it work correctly.

First of all, the bed has no good way to attach to the headboard and in fact doesn't even fit onto the headboard between the molding on the front of the headboard when it is all put together. I had to cut a notch out of each side of the molding in order for the bed to meet flush with the headboard. Secondly, I had to drill holes through the bed and the headboard and secure them with carriage bolts in order for the bed and headboard to be one solid unit, otherwise the headboard is separate from the bed and pretty unstable. Lastly, in order to keep the bed square and make it possible to open and close the drawers, I had to put a few wood screws through the slats that hold that mattress into the base of the frame to secure it. All in all, not too big of a deal if you are fairly handy, don't mind doing the extra work, and live close to a hardware store.

The night stand and dresser went up much easier.

All in all the furniture looks nice once we got it all up, functions well, and after the adjustments, is fairly sturdy. But, because it's particle board and melamine, I worry about the durability for the long term. There are a few minor scratches just from putting it together already.

This bed is beautiful , like the other reviews state, the bed frame and headboard have no way to attach to eachother. Other than that it was easy to assemble and is a beautiful centerpiece to my daughters bedroom.
