I attempted resolution, detailing my issues. The response was not only unhelpful, but also condescending and rude.
After review posted, author sent a 2nd email, with a not so thinly veiled threat.

I purchased your e-book this morning expecting to head out to Home Depot for a lumber run. To say that I am disappointed is an understatement. It does appear that the e-book does indeed contain written instructions to build all the Queening chairs , however the instructions as they exist are really not actionable.

Let me explain. There are no illustrations or exploded drawings. The first Queening Chair has no assembly instructions. The first section below the Queening Chair is Material List. The next section is the Upholstery Material List. The Tool list is next. The dimensions of cut lumber list is next. This list does not reference the materials list. I am left to assume that the back legs, front legs, and arm rest use the 4 x 4. The braces are the 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" pieces. And, the backrest and seat are made of the 2' x 2' plywood sheets. Holes to be drilled presents another set of questions. The seat brace is supposed to have holes drilled at 24 1/4" down. However, the dimension for the seat brace is 22 3/4". Without exploded drawings, this is confusing. Next, 2 Notices follow about the seat height and cut-out shape. There are no further instructions about this chair.

The Queening/Rimming Chair material list has no hardware listed.

I think the Padded Queening Chair is fairly complete, except the absence of exploded drawings.

Only a couple of pages long, not really much more than cut lists.
No pictures, you're supposed to figure it all out from what you've cut.
Imagine buying a desk at a store with no instructions just a box of parts. I'm sure you could figure it out but it would take you ten times as long.

The designs in the book are sound. There are no pictures or drawings in the book. Since I am a visual learner this is important. If you contact the author she will send you pictures of the finished chairs to help in the completion of your chair. Some basic mechanical aptitude is necessary. Finished my chair and the wife and I love it.
