The Queen's China Toile de Jouy tea pot is a perfect complement to the mugs in the same pattern. Toile, French for cloth, was traditionally a woven fabric containing a printed rural scene from the 18th-century produced at the famous printworks in Jouy, near Versailles. The design consisted of one color printed on a white or cream background. Queen's China has beautifully reproduced this time-honored technique on a wide-range of pieces for the table creating a warm and elegant design. Country flowers in cranberry adorn each side of the pot and a cream background replicates the subtly stitched traditional muslin fabric. An ornate cream and tan border decorates the mouth of the tea pot, the handle, and footed base, while similar country flowers cover the lid.

Measuring 9-1/4 inches from spout to handle, 5-1/2 inches wide, and 6 inches tall, this tea pot is suited to accompany other dinnerware, accessories, and serving pieces in the Toile de Jouy line. With a 32-ounce capacity, enough tea can be brewed and enjoyed by one person or a group of four.
