5.0 out of 5 stars Vocal and instrumental collection, December 3, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: The Queen's Delight: 17th Century English Ballads & Dances - Ellen Hargis / Paul O'Dette / The King's Noyse / David Douglass (Audio CD)
The Kings' Noyse glides you thru a courtly and elegant rendering of Elizabethan ballads and dance music. Joined by the exquisite lutenist Paul O'dette and soprano Ellen Hargis - whose lovely voice fits the genre quite well - this CD is pleasant and easy to listen to.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best of King's Noyse, February 14, 2002

I have other CDs of King's Noyse, but I consider this the best of the consort. The 17th-Century English ballads and dances bring to us a kind of inner harmony. The musicians's performance is very exquisite. Tracks 1, 2, 3 and 7 are very joyful.
