The Queen's Hinglish: How to Speak Pukka (Collins Humour)This book is a fairly good introduction to Hinglish for individuals new to the hybrid mix of Hindi/Urdu/Punjabi English. The pronunciation guide is a bit truncated for people with no exposure to the sounds of Hinglish, but aside from that, the list of words are quite thorough and interesting. If you have a rudimentary knowledge of the languages and culture of the Indian subcontinent, I would recommend a more advanced text. In closing, I would hope that the author would compose an audio guide to accompany the text, and a fascinating future text would cover Mumbai slang, which is a whole new linguistic world.
