Good Italian Score,

This score by Italian composer Francesco De Masi is a good one but it's too bad there isn't more of it. Only about half of the CD is music from Quel Maledetto Treno Blindato (Inglorious Bastards to us) and the rest is made up of recording sessions of music De Masi composed for some newsreels. That music is good too but less impressive than his war movie score. Presumably the only tracks left for Quel Maledetto are what is represented here and I supposed we should be thankful for that.

A beautiful score to a wild italian film.,

As a major collector of film score, I of course looked for the score to this film when hearing Quentin Tarantino's "Inglourious Basterds" was named after the older film Inglorious Bastards. I've never watched the movie... Although I've heard this wasn't really a big budget movie, and hearing the main theme on youtube did not give justice to the score. I was suprised it had such beautiful score within the film.. The problem is that only through Traccia 1/Main Theme - Traccia Seq.4 is original, Traccia 5 - Traccia 8 are live in Rome. Over all, If your a fan of war film music, then you won't be disappointed.
