This is NOT the Pro trainer 65 cm. The one I received was 55 cm.

Even though my trainer has come up with some abusive exercises using this Bosu, I can't blame the Bosu and I must say that it is a versatile, durable product (so far, anyway. I've had it for about 6 mos). After reading the reviews about the "home" version of this equipment, I decided to pay a little extra and get the professional one. I like it and it is just like the ones in the gym. It came with a book(let) and dvd of exercise suggestions, but I haven't used them because (as I said) I rely on my trainer, but it seems to be well made and it looks like the manufacturer spent some time putting the book together. Well done.

This is the exact same one you will find at your gym. Very high quality, much better than the home version. I strongly recommend this BOSU to anyone looking to buy one.

My first concern before purchasing the product was, "Would I use the product regularly?" Up to this point I have been. I'm just doing the basics now and will work into more exercises but I am fine with that right now. The set up was easy. If you follow the directions you will not over-inflate it...you just need a 1-foot ruler and you're set to go. The foot pump that was included works fine. Right now my basic exercise is for balance and I use a body blade while balancing. I try squats and balancing on one leg as well. I'm improving with every session I do. I like the Bosu ball a lot....now I just need to get my wife and kids using it.

The BOSU Pro Basic is exactly like the one that I use at my gym.
It's extremely heavy duty. Accompanying booklet has a lot of very good suggestions, recommendations, and guidelines for care and getting the most out of it.

The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that the pump that comes with it does not inflate to capacity -- it falls short about 2 inches from what the height should be. If they can't include a decent pump then they should not include one at all. Otherwise, this is an excellent piece of equipment to exercise at home with as well as work on balancing skills and coordination. My fitness trainer has shown me a lot more and a lot better exercises than are shown in the accompanying booklet. I would highly recommend this BOSU balance trainer but suggest making sure you have a pump that can fill it to capacity.

The item is as expected in type and quality, however the description mentions a DVD and none was enclosed in either of the 2 that I ordered, so I think the description needs editing...Also, the pump if pretty flimsy, but I keep a higher grade pump onhand for use with other objects so that's not as much of an issue for me.

Unsure how the quality of this item will be compared to the home unit since I've only had it a little over a month. I purchased this one since the home version developed three separate leaks over the few years that I owned. I'm hoping this is better made and will not develop holes for no apparent reason.

This is one of the best fitness items on the market. The pro/commercial grade version is highly recommended. As a trainer, it is one of the most valued tools in my gym. My clients love this system. Everything from toe to neck can benefit.

Normally I save reviews strictly for the product itself, but I wanted to make other buyers aware of the fact that there is an error in this listing. Amazon is selling the 'Pro Basic' version for around $130 when you select the 'Institutional' color. The picture attached to the 'institutional' color is in fact of the Pro version, which has a gray base.

I wanted to get the Pro version with the gray base because that is the same one I use in the gym with my personal trainer. The underside of the base Pro version is made to be stood on for balance training when flipped over, which is also great for strength training with weights. When I received my Bosu ball from Amazon, the box had a BASIC stamp on it which seemed normal because Amazon has the product title as "Bosu Pro Basic". When I opened the box, I immediately saw the Bosu ball inside had a black base. Once I took it out and flipped it over, I saw the underside platform had small, rubberized feet on the underside. (The Pro version does not) Stamped on the underside was this message "PLATFORM NOT SUITABLE FOR STANDING - DO NOT STAND ON PLATFORM" So this was clearly the wrong Bosu. I had received the HOME Basic version. I emailed Amazon, and they overnighted a replacement Bosu to me (Best customer service in retail, no joke) and when I got the box, boom, on the outside was stamped once again: BASIC. So I knew even before opening that it was again the Home Basic version, not the Pro. Opened the box and again saw a black base inside.
If you go to Bosu's website, they list the Pro version as having a gray base, no other colors are listed as being Pro.

I've emailed Amazon and let them know of the error, but in the meantime I'm going to order directly from Fitness Quest to make sure I get the Pro version. Buyer beware!

Easy to set up and is a good exercise for improving balance. I had used one at my health club and decided to purchase one for home exercize also. Good decision.
Grandchildren really love it and their balance is much better than mine!
