5.0 out of 5 stars Stunning African Conan, April 29, 2001
This review is from: The Quest for Cush: Imaro II (Paperback)
If you always loved the Conan novels, you should read this one. Alas it has been out of print for years. There are three sequels, and alas, the fourth was never written. In fact Imaro is the best I ever read of that style. It is much better written than Conan, speaking of style, and is much inventive. Description of abominable sorceries really catch the imagination. When you read these books you really feel you are in another world, in a wonderful Africa of legends and lush jungles full of lurking monsters, and much more. For those who ever wanted to read exotic fantasy, this is what you should read. Alas, I am afraid that it will never be printed again...
