About the Author

Born November 30, 1955 in Auckland, New Zealand, Gau-Ghan shares the same birthday as Mark Twain. The years are obviously different; however, avid sci-fi readers, environmentalists and alternative thinkers will stick with Gau-Ghan like paint to the picket fence in Huckleberry Finn.

More About the Author

Born November 30, 1955, in Auckland, New Zealand, Gau-Ghan shares the same birthday as Mark Twain. The years are obviously different; however, avid readers and alternative thinkers will stick with Gau-Ghan like paint to the picket fence in Huckleberry Finn.

Gau-Ghan has always taken a keen interest in metaphysical subjects and he has traveled extensively, often in response to that interest. In his earlier years he witnessed, along with three other people, a sighting of a UFO mother ship and four smaller craft, and that was the catalyst for him to research. He has climbed the pyramids in Egypt, ridden camels in the Sahara desert, visited ancient ruins in Turkey and Ashrams in Northern India - much of his writing is influenced by the rich tapestry of life experiences. Gau-Ghan has been a consultant to corporate entities, specializing in technical writing. He has had several articles published in New Zealand magazines and newspapers, received Honourable Mention for a short story he submitted for the Writer's Digest writing competition and also shortlisted for an international script competition.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Journey Inward, September 23, 2002
By
Remy Benoit (Louisiana United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Quest for Genesis: A Journey of Discovery (Blue Star) (Paperback)
Those of you who voyaged with Commander Zakeera's high adventures in The Blue Star Millennium will be excited by his new venture into the search for ultimate truths and the Genesis machine.

Those of you who haven't met Commander Zakeera yet, or traveled with him through time, space, bodies and minds, as well as the Akashic Record, are in for a wonderful, mind stretching voyage.

This time the tale goes deep: deep into the very core of the planet itself to the fabled realm of Agharti.

Legends abound throughout human history about civilizations deep within the heart of the planet. Once again Commander Zakeera is to venture into the unknown; to seek out Agharti, Shangri-La, Shamballah.

This time the journey will not be with Sherpa guides up snow and ice-covered mountains seeking special hidden entrances to the underworld.

This time the journey is lighted by a strange source; this time the journey of the Astar Galactic Commander begins with a starship, a rescue attempt for those involved in the Philadelphia Experiment, and with two guards carrying energy powered weapons.

Speed with Zakeera through miles of underground tunnels on mind-drived vehicles.

Met Zoe, the beautiful Zoe, who becomes his companion in adventure and so much more.

Enter combat with the Dark Lord of Nazis Germany's troops seeking the Genesis Machine, just as they sought the Sword of Longinus.

Will Zakeera be able to elude the Nazis soldiers and the Dark lama?

Will he be able overcome the Darkets designs on the Genesis Machine?

Most importantly, will Zakeera be able to overcome his most formidable opponent: his own darker self, his Doppelganger?

Once again, David Gau-Gahn leds us on an awesome journey routing us through the Rainbow Project, the Philadelphia Experiment, Roswell, Atlantis, Lemuria, and Agharti.

David is a wonderful story-teller who not only entertains but directs us to think about how we do what we do, and with what intentions, impacts on all of us - including ourselves.
