This is flat out the best book on spirituality I have ever read. It is NOT religious in any way but it is spiritual. The JaFollas have a way of making complex ideas extremely clear. The book is a pleasure to read. From the opening words in the Prologue, "Hello, Friend" to the very end I was captivated. The Quest really is a journey and if you follow that journey you will indeed re-discover a spirituality as deep as the ocean. This is truly, truly a GREAT book. It has impacted my life more than any other book I have ever read.

I have given this book as a gift to everyone who ask what is a good book for my spiritual growth. It is a step by step process guiding your journey. I love the book!

This book was given to me as a gift. I will be forever grateful to the person who gave it. It is the best book on spirituality I have ever read. It's not religious--it's spiritual. And it gives a step-by-step account of how you can turn within and find all that you need to bless your life. It's fabulous. It is the most important book I have ever read.

I started working with the Quest, and its companion workbook, in 2000. I did it with a friend, and we enjoyed ourselves so much that we strung out the chapters for months at a time, wanting to make the most of the cameraderie, the sense of purpose, and to fully take in the simple, yet deep lessons the Jafollas were trying to share. This book has a quality that I so needed at the time, and still prize: it conveys the lessons of a more connected, loving, inspired way of living in a simple, unthreatening and do-able way. I had read more sophisticated books on spirituality, but none were so useful to me as this one. The lessons ARE simple, but the practice of these things takes time and patience and repetition. The Jafollas were kind and warm hearted guides for this journey. I will be forever thankful for their book (it took me over three years to complete!)

This book has been one of the most amazing self discovery on my own personal spiritual growth. I highly recommend this book to all!

My friend and I did the Quest together in 2006 and it was a life changing experience. In 2008 I did it again with another friend and in 2010 I went through the book a third time with yet another friend. Yes, the lessons are simple but practicing the concepts is a challenge and requires a person to be mindful of the lessons. Doing the Quest with another person (or group) is a great way to dig deep into our lives and understand what is holding us back from living a more fulfilling, spiritual life that allows us to be all that we are meant to be. The Quest was a springboard for me into additional Unity coursework and also A Course in Miracles, but no matter how many other books I read or classes I take, I still think that the Quest is a valuable tool for opening the door into a deeper spiritual understanding. If your life is stuck and you don't feel like you are where you want to be, make a commitment to doing the 48 lessons in the Quest and I assure you that if you put forth the effort, the results will be amazing.

Not being a member of Unity, I'm often amazed at their various books. I occasionally stop in to look over Unity books at a local Unity Church and always find something great for learning. This book and its companion book Adventures on the Quest should be purchased together and read one after the other for a beautiful journey within.

I had much higher hopes. Nothing new or for the most part nothing very interesting. Mike P

I've purchased used books here frequently and have always received something that looked almost new. This time I went to the link for books beginning at a penny and I guess you get what you pay for. There is a yard sale sticker with "2.00" on the cover that won't come off. There was a sticker on the spine that was removed before I received the book but which pulled off the cover. The book is slightly "fanned", like it had been shoved between two other books. And the cover is worn and curled at the corners. I like to keep my books and I'll never purchase from the "penny counter" again.
