Flavor Name: Vanilla Almond CrunchSize Name: 12 Count Verified Purchase
For those that aren't already familiar with Quest Bars:
Quest Bars are my go-to protein bar. They are one of the few "true" protein bars out there. They're much more nutritious than your typical store-bought protein bar (more focused on good ingredients, less focus on making them taste like Snickers with all kinds of preservatives) while at the same time still tasting pretty good. The protein/calorie ratio is high compared to most bars, and you're not getting as much junk with it. These also fill me up more than most protein bars, despite usually being fewer calories.

For those already familiar with Quest Bars:
Just comparing flavor/consistency, the Vanilla Almond Crunch is one of my favorites (and I've tried all the Quest Bars). It's a fairly mild flavor so unlikely to upset you, and there are little slices of Almond in it. Consistency is about on par with the Cinnamon Roll ones, smooth and medium hard. Not rough/hard like the Chocolate brownie or soft like the Apple Pie.

I typically eat an Apple Pie or Mixed Berry bar in the morning, and Vanilla Almond Crunch or Peanut Butter in the afternoon.

For those worried about blood sugar:
Beware that among the 10 flavors of Quest bars there are actually two separate lines. One line contains sucralose and the other is more natural and does not. The lines are broken down by flavors...

Contain Sucralose:
Chocolate Brownie
Apple Pie
Mixed Berry Bliss
Vanilla Almond Crunch
Peanut Butter Supreme

Natural (no Sucralose):
Cinnamon Roll
Strawberry Cheesecake
Lemon Cream Pie
Chocolate Peanut Butter
Coconut Cashew

Notice that the Vanilla Almond Crunch is in the line containing sucralose, so you will want to avoid this one if you are diabetic and get one of the flavors from that second list.

I'm not sure, but I think these Cookie & Cream bars might be the answer to world peace.

If happiness had a flavor, this would definitely be it. I don't know who on the Quest research and development team came up with this bar, but he deserves a promotion. Dare I say he would make a terrific president of the U.S.

I would definitely recommend these bars to anyone looking to experience what it means to have a "mouthgasm." And with 21 grams of protein in each bar, your muscles will thank you.

Flavor Name: Mixed Berry BlissSize Name: 12 Count
Quest bars: I wrote this every time I tried a new flavor. Hence these ideas are pretty accurate, from my point of view.
In short, the All natural line has less sweetener after taste, except for some flavors like Apple Pie and Mixed Berry Bliss, which still taste great despite the sucralose and not having stevia

Now, berry bliss is my favourite now. This is despite having sucralose and not stevia as the sweetener . I just don't get any after taste And the taste is the best. I really like the blueberry bits in the bar, and the bar doesn't harden like strawberry cheesecake does. The downside is the 200 Cals and the price. Though the ingredient list really is healthy. I'll be buying more of these ones !

NEW LINE (STEVIA)

1.Strawberry cheesecake all natural line

The first my wife and I tried. Chewy, quite filling, mildly sweet, not extremely delicious, 160 cal **** taste B+

2.Cinnamon roll 170 Cal
Chewy, cookie like, cinnamon flavour subtle. Coconut seems to be there too. Not very sweet and artificial sweetener not very prominent. Quite filling.Tasty **** B+

3..Chocolate peanut butter 160 Cal
Chewy, like chocolate brownie, less aftertaste, also less taste B ***
Browner, better tasting than the sucralose brownie. Though I find I really don't enjoy peanut butter flavours

4. Lemon Cream pie 170 cal
Lemony taste, as expected ! Chewy, no fruit bits, almond flecks? Aftertaste not too bad. Taste: B minus ***

5. Coconut cashew 170 cal

Tastes of real coconut. Has the same stippled beige appearance most of the bars have. Am not a great coconut fan. Sweetener is stevia and seems to make some difference. Has real cashew bits . Taste B ***

OLD LINE (SUCRALOSE)

1.

I was told by a coach (who trains Crossfit) who's very health consiencious that these are the best bars out there if you want to have something on the go, or as a fortified snack. I put down the information below to help everyone else out there choose the Quest bars that works for them:

Quest bars are all 20gm (with the exception of choco chip cookie dough that has 21gm) of protein but differ in fiber, sugar and fat content (and thus in total calories).

Some are sweetened by stevia (*) and some by splenda (+). The break-down is below:

160 cal:
chocolate peanut butter - (*) 5gm fat, 17gm fiber, 1gm sugar
strawberry cheesecake - (*) 5gm fat, 17gm fiber, 2gm sugar

170 cal:
banana nut muffin - (no sweetener) 5gm fat, 16gm fiber, 2gm sugar
cinnamon roll - (*) 6gm fat, 17gm fiber, 1gm sugar
chocolate brownie - (+) 6gm fat, 19gm fiber, 4gm sugar
coconut cashew - (*) 6gm fat, 17gm fiber, 1gm sugar
lemon cream pie - (*) 6gm fat, 17gm fiber, 1gm sugar
double chocolate chunk - (*) 6gm fat, 16gm fiber, 1gm sugar

180 cal:
apple pie - (+) 8gm fat, 18gm fiber, 1gm sugar

190 cal:
vanilla almond crunch - (+) 5gm fat, 18gm fiber, 4gm sugar
chocolate chip cookie dough - (*) 8gm fat, 17gm fiber, 1gm sugar
white chocolate raspberry - (*) 8gm fat, 17gm fiber, 1gm sugar

200 cal:
mixed berry - (+) 8gm fat, 18gm fiber, 2gm sugar

210 cal:
peanut butter supreme - (+) 10gm fat, 17gm fiber, 2gm sugar
peanut butter and jelly - (*) 10gm fat, 17gm fiber, 2gm sugar

I hope this helps!!
