I bought this book for $2 at a used bookstore - I bought it based on the silly cover and even sillier summary on the back.This book is a bad book. While the first half is somewhat amusing, the second half of the book is quite painfully bad. You're left scratching your head, wondering what Cordwainer was thinking with the last part. Chicken planet? What? Only read it if you can read it quickly (2-4 hours) and feel like reading a silly bad sci-fi book. |
