This film always provides for lively and controversial conversation. It's an amazing examination of the relationship between the sexes. Highly recommended.

I hope that this will make it to DVD so I can watch it again. It made a big impression on me when I watched it fifteen years ago as a single college student, and I was wondering how I would react to it this time as a mom of two boys, mid-divorce. I'm so curious, I almost think I might get it and watch it at a friend's house. It's sad to me that great movies like this might stop being viewed and talked about, now that it can't make the online rental queues.
I warn you, that probably no men will "get" this movie, and some women won't either. The amazing thing about this movie is that you're either in on the joke or you're not. The joke is dark, not funny. It's about being able to appreciate a point of view. |
