I selected this book to help my wife and I answer some basic questions about our faith and God. I call this a crossroads book because I believe that every adult comes to that point in there life when quesitons about God and faith that were easily answered as children creep up again and as adults the answeres we had as children don't satisfy us anymore. That is the crossroads. Do we abandon faith / God due to lack of knowledge or delve deeper into it? This book should be your first stop at that crossroads. It answers those basic questions and instills a curisoity and vigor to delve deeper into your faith. You wont be disapointed with this book.

I've read many books on this topic, and this is by far the best. It avoids sermons, is easy to read, and is full of facts. It offers the most compelling evidence yet for the existence of God. A friend of mine gave me a copy -- she'd bought several to give to friends -- and after reading it, I bought a copy for a friend. The book affirms the faith of Christians, and offers compelling evidence to nonbelievers. To duplicate the information in this book, you'd have to buy several single-topic books and load your friends down with a pile they'd never read. This book covers it all -- with a lot of new information -- in just 162 pages. It's an easy, entertaining read, and one of the best books on any topic I've ever read.

The authors address questions that almost everyone asks at some time in their life: If there is a God, why does He allow tragedy and suffering in the world? How did the world begin? Was there a divine Creator, or did it all happen by chance? Is truth absolute or relative? What's my purpose? Does the Bible contradict science and history? Was Jesus the Son of God as He claimed--or just a good man who walked the earth? What motivates atheists to reject belief in a deity?

The chapter on "why God allows suffering in the world" is particularly strong. Although not dismissive of the many injustices in the world, the authors provide clear explanations that address evil in the world and the exercise of man's free will.

The book is well researched and chockfull of studies and quotations from the scientific community and from medical experts. The writing style is clever and punchy. With only 162 pages, the book makes fast reading. Highly recommended.

This is a fairly short, but rather powerful book exploring some of the big questions about God.

It is much better than I had expected. When I saw that Pat Boone was one of the authors, I figured it would be pretty simple stuff. I mistakenly thought him to be a bit of a lightweight, probably due to his history as a popular entertainer.

In spite of my preconceived notions, this actually covers a lot of scientific evidence including the unfathomable size and expansion of the universe, the incredible intricacies of the human eye and ear and the astronomical odds against the incredibly complex DNA 'assembling randomly'. In addition, it explores such things as scientific truths contained in the Bible that were written hundreds of years prior to their discovery by the most brilliant of scientists. Some of these include the roundness of the Earth, the expansion of the universe, and the circulatory system.

There are also great sections on fulfilled prophecy (an area that is unexplainable without the inspiration of God), 'food for thought' for atheists, and a look at 'Was Jesus the Son of God'? Another one that is very thought provoking is the look given to the emptiness of humans in many ways and the only thing that can satisfy that.

I would recommend this to anyone who is exploring the existence of God, how to connect with the Creator, etc.

This book is an easy read except for one chapter or passage that goes so far into the field of astronomy that I felt like I had fallen through the black hole trying to get through it. But even that passage made it's point well. The questions and answers are straight forward, detailed enough, and very helpful to anyone interested in this area of study. I'd say it's written for the layman, not the scholar, but that's what I was after so I enjoyed the book very much.

Most books on religion are just more of the same. This book stands out. It's based on logic and well-researched facts. I'm giving 10 copies to friends. Definitely recommended.

The authors combine compelling evidence with the power of faith in their answers on inspiration of the scriptures, the life of Christ, his claims and his resurrection.

"Questions About God" answers basic questions in a logical well ordered way with an invitation to the reader to consider the claims of the gospel of Jesus Christ, his fulfillment of Old Testament Prophecies, his death and resurrection and his promise to fill the emptiness and void innate in man's soul. A strong message with a convincing presentation.

Pat Boone and Cord Cooper have hit a home run with their new book "Questions About God." They empathize well with those who have questions about the concept of God, while offering well thought out and persuasive arguments. People will be talking about this book for years to come. I highly recommend it!

"Questions About God" sets out to prove the Bible's accuracy. For me, it does this beyond a shadow of a doubt. Early on, the authors state clearly that they use science's own principles to prove God's existence. The authors fulfil on their promise in a most convincing way. It's a win-win situation: those who study science will discover that science itself shows the existence of God. Those who find their interpretation of Scripture is at odds with some aspects of science, will find that the existence of God is proved through the Bible. The chapter, "Does the Bible Offer Evidence of Divine Inspiration?" is richly detailed and very well done, as is the rest of this book. Definitely recommended.
