I have been in sales and sales training, and have owned several businesses over the last 25 years, and I just can't believe how awesome this book is. If you are in business for yourself, in sales, or just want to learn how to comminicate effectively with ANYONE, then this is a MUST READ...OVER AND OVER! This techniques taught are not anything new...Ziglar...Hopkins...Tracy...they have all taught these methods in great detail. This book teaches the most simple method of selling I have ever seen...and I have read ALL of the books! This book gives the impression that it's about Network Marketing...and it is...however, it can be applied in EVERY business. I am NOT in network marketing...nor do I have a desire to be.

The Best Book I've Read On MLM / Network Marketing In the Last 10 Years!,
By Steve Ski "Steve Ski" (Australia) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Questions Are the Answers (Hardcover)
This is simply the best book I've ever found to train your downline with. Short, Simple, Easy to Learn. No bull, no fluff and I'm a conservative American now living in Australia. Despite the Authors feelings toward Americans I can't say enough good things about this book.
There's a promise that goes with the system you will learn in this book. "If you promise to learn the technique off by heart and not to change a word for the first 14 days, I promise that the results will be beyond your wildest dreams". Now instead of trying to sell my business opportunity I just ask the "5 Solid Gold Questions" and shut up and listen to my prospects. They end up telling me why they should join my business. I don't even tell or give presentations anymore. After asking the Five Magic Questions I simply give my prospects a free sample and tell them to visit my RisingIncome.com website and let it do all the talking for me! Asking questions instead of selling is the best way to succeed in MLM / Network Marketing. Of course you need to be with a product driven company whose product is not over priced or over hyped like most MLM products are. Ask questions, listen to their answers, give them a free sample and send them off to your website. They end up selling themselves. Easy, Simple, Fun and no pressure way to build a large downline of distributors who won't give this industry a bad name the way untrained distributors do. Steve Shulenski Qld, Australia

I am not involved in network marketing or person-to-person sales of any sort but even I could see how a person building a network could use this book.
The author starts by telling about his own early sales experience and boils down most success as persistance. I have to agree with that actually getting it done is necessary in most fields. Then he goes into his own sales method and winds the book up with body language tips for making a good impression. As far as the sales method goes, the author presents a method of having the prospect tell you what he wants and how your product fits in with it that could help in any type of sales or persuasion. The main thing that seems to be missing is a discussion of how to pick out which network to join up with if you don't have the luck to be approached and sold on the one that's the best for you.

This is the book I've been waiting for...
It's been around for a while but I just found it. It's an awesome experience that what you've known it but not able to summarize it in a systematic level is in front of you as a book. That's how I felt about this book while reading it. To me, it is a tool to organize/explain this thoughts to others. It seems like I've just found an organized summary of your point of view in this book. I just absolutely love this book ..

The book is short but full of good and easy to use advice. While many of the ideas seem so simple and we've probably heard or seen them before, it's always good to get a reminder. It's written in easy to understand language and a valuable tool for all in any form of sales. In fact, a valuable tool regardless of your occupation.

Virulent Bigot with Strong Anti-American Retoric in UK,

I am not shocked that several of Alan & Barbara Pease's books have not appeared on American bookshelves. The editors would have had to delete most of the written word in order to keep the publisher from being sued. In their "Definitive Book of Body Language", published by Orion Books, UK, 2004, I was treated to such items as(after a quiz on hand signals): "You think everyone thinks like you do. You should never be issued a passport or even be allowed out of the house. You have little concept that the rest of the world is different to you and you think that it's always the same time and season all over the world. You are (probably) an American." and "The word 'toilet' is slowly disappearing from the English language because Americans... are terrified to say it." How about: "When it comes to inadvertently offending other cultures, Americans take first prize. As I mentioned, most Americans...believe the rest of the world thinks like them and wants to be like them." Do yourself a favor - don't give good American money to a bigoted British author.
