801 Questions Kids Ask about God with Answers from the Bible,
By A Customer
This review is from: 801 Questions Kids Ask about God (Heritage Builders) (Paperback)
Every home should have a copy! This is a fantastic resource to have on hand regardless of the ages within your home. Some of the questions have been verbatim of some my own children have asked. The great treasure of the book is that each answer is biblically based. It has been a wonderful reinforcement for my children to have their own questions answered directly from the Bible. Thank you Mr. Veerman!

I bought this thinking the questions would be more along the lines of the questions I actually hear kids asking about God or Jesus. Much of this book is really just normal questions kids would ask about anything with a God based answer given. "Is it wrong to make fun of nerds?" Yes that's a good question and yes I am sure God has an opinion on the subject, but that's not a question about God is it?
Oh and I was hoping for easy to swallow answers for the kids, but some of the answers are harder to explain than the question. Q: "Why do people die?" A: "Because of sin." I do think there is a market for this book and I do think it's a helpful read, but I think it's marketed a bit incorrectly.

This book is not only a fantastic resource for young kids, but it is also an incredible tool for any person that is early in their walk with Christ or even for those who are searching. It offers very straightforward answers that are easly to understand and relate to. Both I and my kids have a hard time putting it down each time we get it out. One question leads to another which leads to another. We had some great family discussions with this book. Every family should have one in my opinion.

I bought this book shortly after my daughter was born - about 10 years ago. It has NEVER let me down. Even thought I know the answers to most of the questions, it always surprises me that I have an extremely difficult time reiterating the answer when one of my children asks a question. The questions are great - ones that kids actually ask, ranging from the end of the world to whether or not there is a McDonald's in heaven - and the answers are truthful and written to a child's level of understanding.

Everything your kids ask about God. Nice short answers that allow you to make it short and sweet for younger kids or more in depth for older children. Gives Bible veres as well.

This book is a good book to use in junior church or with your own family when the children ask you questions about God. The answers are very good and thought provoking. From creation to heaven, every subject children ask about God is answered succinctly. I highly recommend it.

My 3rd grade PSR class loves this book! I have them pick a number at random between 1 and 801 and read the question and answer at the end of each class and they get a big kick out of it. Highly recommend this book!
