Carol left her then job in advertising and worked for a year at Jane Asher's cake shop in Chelsea, London. Carol then went freelance and as well as running a succesful wedding cake business and writing books, Carol has designed and written for many food and cake magazines and has demonstrated her edible artistic skills in the UK, abroad and on TV.
