Great post natal work out,

This is not for fitness fanatics. It is for moms who are recovering from having a baby. It is an easy/gentle workout great for getting you back on the fitness track. I started doing it about a month after having my baby. Its convenient too, because of the 10-minute segment format, you can fit in a work out here or there between giving attention to your newborn baby. This is not a mommy-baby work out, so you need to do this while baby is napping or otherwise entertained.

Great Workout that Goes By Quickly!,
This review is from: Quick Fix - Post Natal Workout (DVD)
I found myself very motivated to do this video. I love that it is broken down into three 10 minute segments and the fact that there is a countdown clock motivates you even more. The exercises were challenging, but not too difficult to do right away and the levels allow you to increase your intensity as you gain strength. The upper body workout really helped me loose the weight I gained in my arms and back. I really like the ab workout as well- it is very strengthing. I can feel my abs again! I highly recommend this video!

I used the "pre-natal" workout video before and the "post-natal" after my daughter was born and highly recommend them. This video was just challenging enough to be fun and did a great job of strengthening my back and retoning my abs, along with working the other muscles. Each of the segments are 10 minutes long and the routines are easy to learn and don't require you to bounce around (a real plus in my opinion)! I liked the ability to choose what muscles I was going to focus on and how much time I had to myself. You should still plan to walk or do some other exercise for cardio, but this video is a great way to get your muscles back into shape after a baby.

Good workout,

This DVD is great because it's broken down into three 10 minutes workout. I can choose to do all three if I have time or just do one if I'm busy with the baby. My baby is two months old so her schedule is very unpredictable. It's nice to be able to squeeze it some short workout in between. The workout includes some stretching and works all the major muscles. The exercises are fun and easy to follow. There is also a countdown clock on the bottom of the screen so you can keep track for the time.

I loved this video. The music was good, the instructor was great, and the count down was wonderful. It's so nice to have 10 minute segments because even if I have time to do the whole video at once I don't feel overwelmed!

Good for Busy Moms,

i am a new mom of an 8 week old who cries and fusses a lot when he's awake. the three 10 minute workouts gives me the flexibility to get some exercise when he naps during the day. i bought this product two weeks ago and i'm already seeing results. i lost 20 pounds after the delivery and an extra 5 pounds the first two weeks because of breastfeeding and adjusting to motherhood, but after that i stopped losing weight. that's when i decided to buy this dvd. since then, i have lost close to 3 pounds and a few inches off my waist (in 2 1/2 weeks!). all my relatives and friends keep telling me how much flatter my abs look. some of them are even surprised it's only been 2 months since i gave birth. i would've given it a 5 star if i liked the music better. also, i would've liked another 10 minute workout on cardio/aerobics.

Not What I was Expecting,
This review is from: Quick Fix - Post Natal Workout (DVD)
I purchased this video thinking I could use it with my new baby. It is actually just for the new mom. Although the exercises are short (ten minutes each I think)I had a hard time finding ten free minutes to do these. When I did get to do them I found them to be too easy. I would consider myself to be an "intermediate" level if not below that. I was looking for something that made me sore the next day and fatigued at the end of the workout but that is not what I discovered. I was disappointed with these workouts. I would say that if you have any exercise experience that you should try something else.

Great workout to get back in shape,

This is a great workout DVD and very easy to follow. I've pretty much never exercised prior to having my baby (had a slender build), but a couple months after giving birth i found myself very anxious to lose all those extra pounds. I've bought many other exercise DVDs, books, etc. and this has been the only one i've been able to stick with on a daily basis.
This DVD is sectioned off, targetting arms, legs & abdominal muscles. You have the option of starting off without weights, with water bottles and with weights as you progress. The exercises are simple & gentle, but very effective. The countdown & music/tempo are motivating and the directions are easy to follow. You're told which muscles you're working on with each exercise - i've found that helpful so i can target areas of my body throughout the day (a few minutes here & there) even without having the DVD on. Having the 3 ten minute workouts are a definite plus - fitting in 10 minutes is much easier than having to pause or stop and try to find where you left off! I *highly* recommend this to everyone who is trying to get back into shape - especially those who want to ease into it slowly or folks who don't usually work out.

i can almost always fit this in,

i liked this for those days when i don't have time to go for a bike ride or swim laps. i can almost always work in the ab exercises since it is only 10 minutes. it is not for someone in great shape but since i no longer get to exercise everyday it is nice to be able to fit in a quickie. it is also nice to select the area of your body that u would like to work on. u can start as soon as u feel u are able to exercise & modify it as u get stronger.

No Excuses for New Moms!,
By Golden Girl (Honolulu, Hawaii) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Quick Fix - Post Natal Workout (DVD)
This is a great DVD for new moms who like to make excuses why not to work out! Every day, I'm able to sneak in one, two or all three of the 10 minute programs in between loads of laundry and while my two-month-old naps. Watching the clock in the corner of the screen and the real new moms in the program are really motivating for me and eventhough I'm never sore the next day, it's a good starter program.
