This is one of the better books I've found for the novice builder. The plans are simple with materials list for different sizes. Nothing fancy with this book just downright practical. You won't get lost in lingo. If you've built items in the past and are intermediate in skill, this may be too simple. This is a great first book on construction.

A really easy to follow book on building a shed. It IS a step by step read, and not all over the place like most you see. Anyone will understand this guide. The pictures almost tell the entire story, they are so good. You get to SEE what they are talking about. I'm using it to build 2 sheds, one 12 x 12 and one 12 x 24. and I'm not worried at all about being able to do this, after seeing how, from this book. It's a good guide, period.
