Janie Samuels spent most of her life overweight.  After trying (what seemed like) every diet out there only to find herself losing and gaining her way through her 20s and early 30s, she finally got it right at 35. This is a great recipe book! All the recipes are so extremely quick to make! The last thing that I want to do is come home after working all day & stand in the kitchen all evening. This book is packed with quick recipes & they have been converted to a healthy status. I found a few of my favorites that I had quit making because they really were not healthy. Now I can enjoy them guilt free! A few of my favorites; Parmesan Cauliflower, Caramelized Carrots with Rosemary, Smoky Mashed Sweet Potatoes... OMG!!!! The Pecan-Crusted Chicken & Blue Cheese Chicken Rollups are just wonderful!! I really can't wait to try all the recipes.

I really liked this recipe book. I'm already planning the Roasted Tilapia with Feta and Tomatoes for tomorrow night. It just sounded so yummy. Then of course there is the Sweet and Sour Shrimp, or the Warm Cinnamon Apples, or the Smokey Mashed Sweet Potatoes, yummmmmmmm. The recipes are all easy to put together and are not time consuming. I want to come home from work, throw something together in less than 10 mins to pop in the oven etc and then have 20-30 mins to enjoy a glass of wine. These recipes will allow me to do just that! Wooo Hoooo! And they are healthy too. It is a win-win situation for me.

As a Weight Watchers lifetime member, I am always looking for new recipe ideas. I was very pleased to see that each recipe in this cookbook included the Points Plus values! I can't wait to try the Cheesy Zucchini Rotini and a serving of Warm Cinnamon Apples!
